Thick, smooth pillow cases with a very nice feel.
I love these pillow cases. The material is nice and thick and feels very smooth to the touch. They’re extremely comfortable to sleep on. I’ve tried a number of pillow cases, and these are by far the best I’ve owned.

Initial impression
We've now purchased 3 sets, two sets of sheets (Royal 1000 Thread Count, Chateau 800 Thread Count) and these pillow cases. We didn't purchase the sheet set because my wife didn't want white (Split King only available in white). The Pizuna fabric is the thickest. After one washing they are rough and not very supple. There is no doubt of the quality of this fabric. Does 1000 thread count make a difference? Definitely!! It will likely take a good dozen washings before they would be very supple and comfortable. They are VERY much worth the money. Of the 3, these represent the best value. I can't comment on the fit of the fitted sheets given we purchased the pillow cases but the pillow cases are very large. Really, too big! (King) Once they're washed enough and become more supple their large size will not be bothersome. After one wash they are bothersome. For now I have this pillow case on a formed latex pillow that I put between my legs at night. They are too rough, right now, to be against my face. I'll say this, once they've been broken in I suspect they will be the best of all three. So, in assessing the 3, I would pick these above any that we have tried or compared to. The Pizuna 1000 thread Count sheets represent an exceptional value!

Excellent value, beautiful product
I'm a tough customer to please. I have been trying in vain for years to replace my original 1200 thread count pillow cases and have ended up with lots of expensive rags. (I typically never send anything back but chalk it up as a life lesson.)I was looking for high quality, capacious pillow cases in just the right shade of sage, and I found them!! They're incredibly soft, beautifully made, smooth, comfortable, and somehow virtually wrinkle-proof. Money well spent!

Buy the lower thread count
These pillow cases are great- thick and good quality. I also have them in the 400 thread count. My suggestion is to buy the 400 thread count. They are much softer and feel so much nicer against your skin than the 1000 thread count. I’m very happy with this company. I also have the duvet cover and fitted sheet and both are amazing.

These are great sheets
My wife is VERY picky about sheets. When I 1st bought the Pizuna 1000’s she didn’t even want to take them out of the package. Now she Loves them and we have bought 3 sets so we can rotate them. I have never seen better sheets anywhere, not even the best 5-star hotels.

1000TC Pizuna Royale: Product Description Correct, Not Headline
Headline states Sateen Weave, Standard size and Dark Blue but it feels crisp as Pascal, not silky, and it is a light blue and longer, wider than Standard; more like product description of Baby Blue and Queen size. Also, thread count and special all cotton yarn result in heavy thick but soft pillowcase. The result is roomy and non-silky, holding standard and queen size pillows in one case, sliding long over short for sitting up.

Good fabric, poor construction
The pillowcases that I ordered seemed to be made of good quality heavy fabric with a nice luster. I was very pleased after my long search for sturdy bed linens, but then disappointed after checking the construction. It is typical modern construction with two serged side seams. The sewing was careless, with areas of bunching at the hem to make the side seams come out even. Not seen except on the inside, it would have become apparent and an ongoing irritation after laundering with twisting and creasing of the hem, and perhaps the whole pillowcase. A very obvious defect, it should not have passed inspection. It was too much to risk to resew it myself and hope for a better outcome. The fabric is nice enough, however, that I will order another set. There is a rather strong vinegary smell that I hope will wash out.
