use on gas hob? does it need a support ring?

Hi. I've been using this wok on a gas hob without any problems. It certainly does not need a support ring. The wok gets very hot, very quickly, so for most cooking you only need use it on a very low setting. I'd recommend it.

does the lid have a vent
