Cup Phone Holder for Car, Universal Adjustable Cup Holder Phone Mount Compatible with iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, LG, Sony, and Nokia

After searching for cup holder phone mounts, and seeing the outrageous prices others were charging, I ordered this product. Setup was simple, functions as advertised.I would recommend this product.Update:On June 9, 2021, I purchased this cup holder. For a year, I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Just shy of one year, I needed a replacement for this item. I contacted LorimaDirect and began a wonderful experience with a member of the company. In less than a day, I received word that that I would receive a replacement free of charge. That was on June 2, 2022. I am happy to report that I received the replacement item on June 5, 2022.That is blazing fast. Three days from request to receiving the item!Lorima represents the BEST in customer service. I was updated regularly on the progress of the replacement, and not by an auto-generated email, but by a real person.The replacement item has improved some of the features, making it even more durable and sturdy than it was.I would strongly encourage that everyone READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!It was only after receiving the replacement item that I realized that in order to fasten the actual phone holder plate to the unit that it needs to be snapped on and pushed down in order to lock it and prevent it from falling off the unit.Secondly, I never realized that the bottom wing of the phone holder plate (where the USB cable goes through) is actually adjustable via a button on the back side of this plate.Both of these features were available on my old unit, which I still have. It is my own fault for not having read the instructions completely.I have to disagree with the majority of the negative reviews. With the exception of those who received a defective unit, I believe that most, if not all the issues encountered could be remedied by either:1) remembering to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, and/or2) contacting customer serviceI am completely satisfied with the product. It has all the features of those marketed by the larger companies, but for a very reasonable price. I compared this item to those from other, larger companies prior to purchasing from LorimaDirect. In my opinion, there is no reason to pay upwards of $60 or more for a cupholder from another company, when for substantially less, you get the same product with the same features.Definitely 5 STARS ALL AROUND !!!

The fiction clasp which allows you to establish the presentation angle broke within weeks of purchase. However, I was able to drill it out and put in a real, metal bolt with wing nuts. Used it many times since with no other problems.

We got this for our golf cart. Fits in the cup holder really well and phone attaches with no vibrations. Its a great purchase

Nice but, I hate the bottom flip out part where it stops the phone why does it flip up it should be able to lock in place so it doesn't flip up on you and your phone slides through it and falls on the damn ground. That is what I have found to be the worst design flaw of this thing otherwise it would be awesome

Phone cup holders, you should know, take up one cup mount and so reduce storage for miscellaneous items.Phone mount cup holders require a fair amount of eye movement away from straight ahead driving, so for navigation especially they are not as good as a window mount gps or a window mount that can securely hold your phone. A vent mount may be better if heating/cooling not adversely affected, if you do not want a window or deck mounting. That said, if you are going to use your phone for general use a cup holder mount may be perfectly fine. For the least eye distraction in general, I offer the following:I bought both the Lorima mount and the Lisen. Tried both cup holder phone mounts in a Subaru Ascent SUV and in a Honda CRV SUV. In Honda CRV it is necessary to mount either mount only in rear hole to avoid holder being an obstacle to shift lever movement. Either mount can go in the front hole of the larger Subaru (or in the less desireable rear hole).Lisen is much shorter at max extent and therefore less useful for SUV use. The Lisen might be fine for a lower seated passenger car. It is sturdy and because it is shorter when extended does not allow phone side to side movement of phone while driving. However, the Lorima phone wobble movement is not bad at all and is perfectly acceptable, and its extra height requires less eye distraction when you are driving. In the larger Subaru, I am keeping the Lorima mount. Its construction is fine as long as you tighten the adjusting knobs.For our CRV I am going to try a window mount or a vent mount, for comparison. I'll keep the Lisen until I test other mounts and may end up giving away the Lisen mount to someone who drives a passenger car.4 stars because of the safety drawback of using cup holder mounts.
