Hampton Signature – San Remo – 20 Piece Flatware Set, Service for 4 – Red

I wish they were more dishwasher safe than they are. :(These are great looking flatware but if you don't hand wash them with a gentle detergent then metal detailing on the handles gets a bit corroded. I helped to reduce this a bit by putting em in the machine on a non- pots and pans setting with about half as much dish detergent as I would use on a full load and let em air dry.Aside from that, they are sturdy and beautiful :)

Purchased this several months ago and it is beautiful and sturdy flatware. But the metal will want to discolor in the dishwasher at times and the knives will get rust spots in the dishwasher. Better washed by hand.

I've been collecting this pattern for some time. I love the way they look on the table.

I have had this set of BLACK flatware for more than ten years. Here is what I have learned: 1. DO NOT USE LIQUID OR DISHWASHER DETERGENT THAT CONTAINS CITRUS SCENT OR CITRIC ACID. The citrus will ruin the shine on the stainless and it will fade the handle colors. 2. Put flatware in dishwasher stainless down and handles up. This prevents water from entering where the stainless meets the handle. If the other tip falls off, super glue or hot glue will restore them like new.
