Went to Panama and used this every day. Can't recall any bug bites worth mentioning. SHared this with 3 other people and none of us complained about bug bites. Maybe get a smaller size to travel I was thera week and barely used a quarter of this container between 3-4 people. I left it at the camp for others to use when I left. Not the best smell, but chances are everyone near you is going to be wearing something that smells similar. Wasn't repulsive smelling, but it did smell.....chemical? No complaints and I would but this again.

Cutter Backwoods Insect Repellent Pump Spray is an effective product. During part of the year, our area is plagued with mosquitoes, who exist along with a variety of other stinging/biting insects. As far as we can tell, this works. I keep bottles in the cars, too, so they're always handy. The scent almost immediately disappears, at least as far as people go. I spray it on my pants, the back of my shirt, and in exposed places where mosquitoes are apt to bite. I'm satisfied. Whatever you do, don't go without. Mosquitoes and other insects can carry life-threatening disease.

One of the bottles leaked, I weighed .2 grams worth, can see if stained the carton. Not worth returning, but a little annoying. I guess that's the tradeoff of pump vs aerosol.

This is the best product I have found for protection. Not sticky or dmelly. Has a clean smell to it and keeps bugs away!!

We have mosquitoes bad at our house. This is the best spray we have found. It works 100% of the time. Will keep buying as long as it is made!

It is okay, but do not last long, definitely if you sweat. When running, I thought this be great, after 30 minutes I being swarmed by bugs again. It's okay if you just walking and not getting to sweaty, but if you going to sweat, no.

Dispenses too much spray, hate the scent, does not really keep bugs off for long.

After buying Ultrathion, which is useless, I found that Cutters Backwoods works much better. The only problem is the horrible spray top which is difficult to use. It rotates without warning and I got myself in the eye! But fewer bites. REVISED: Doesn't work all that well after all, just a little better than Ultrathion. I am still getting bitten by mosquitoes; worst season in years! Have decided to try something else.
