Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice, a Spicy Black Tea with Cinnamon, Orange Flavors & Sweet Clove - 50 Teabags

My daughter and I host lady tea parties and at some point, a friend suggested that we try "Harney & Sons" teas. I bought the multi pack - as they have so many flavors.... but my all time favorite is the Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice flavor. I have an entire tea rack filled with various teas... but every time I want a cup of tea... I seem to pick this particular brand and flavor... so it's the one flavor I am buying over and over again (and just letting the other flavors sit in my tea rack.) In fact as I write this review, I am drinking a hot cup of this Hot Cinnamon Spice tea. The smell is authentic cinnamon. The flavor is truly perfect for a cold winter night. This particular box is the best value I can find for the number of packets that are in it and I honestly haven't purchased it anywhere other than Amazon. So I have now purchased this particular box many times (from Amazon.) I highly recommend this brand of tea, and in particular, this flavor. 5 stars for sure!

Just got this box of Harney & Sons with orange and white tea bag containers: Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea (cinnamon orange black tea with a hint of cloves). Love it!!! Used 2 bags in my big 26-28 ounce mug (just one bag was strong enough to fully flavor that amount of water, but I decided to add the second bag to see what a very strong cup would do, and the flavor and spice heat did get bigger but stayed balanced and true without becoming too much spice heat), and the flavor is perfect!! Very balanced flavors. The cinnamon is spicy like red hots candy cinnamon, it gives a slight tingle to the tongue and throat as you drink it but not too hot or spicy (I can barely handle mild salsa, so this is not too hot spicy for me at all ... just a tiny bit of heat right as you drink, the tingle/heat disappears quickly but leaves a hint of cinnamon/clove flavor). Not much orange flavor in it, it just has orange peel, and it has more smell of orange than flavor, but it is slightly there. The main two flavors are black tea and cinnamon, the orange and cloves you probably couldn't pick out if blind tasting it, but they give a more rounded flavor than just cinnamon black tea...it tastes more complex without being able to put your finger on it. This would be a great tea for a base for holiday drink concoctions/cocktails. I can see repeat buying this one a lot and never getting tired of it. UPDATE: I bought this tea again and got it September 2020. This is a much weaker version of the cinnamon tea!!!! The individual packets holding the teabags are a different design and colors, they are orange and brown instead of the previous orange and white packets I loved up above. This batch is so weak I have to use 2 bags to get half the flavor of one of the previous batches bags. It is the red hot cinnamon flavor that is lacking in this orange and brown tea packets, barely any red hot flavor...the rest of the flavors taste about the same: the well rounded black tea, cloves, tiny bit of cinnamon and if 2 bags used a tiny bit of throat tingle but no tongue tingle now, and barely any orange peel still. Its still the best cinnamon tea I have had, but it is so weak it can easily be forgotten and not reordered for a very long time. Now I'm not sure which is the regular strength flavor of this tea: the strong good red hot cinnamon tea in orange n white packets or the very weak barely there cinnamon flavor orange n brown packets.

This tea is great! Really good flavor. It reminds me a lot of, well I won't give the brand here, but they came from the good earth. That brand has changed for the worse, but Harney & Sons is so good, who cares. I also like the larger pack than common tea bags because I drink a lot of it. I've tried many other orange spice & cinnamon spice flavors, but this one is easily the best.

DELICIOUS tea. The cinnamon is strong without being overpowering. Sweet enough that I don’t need to add sugar or honey. Definitely going to buy again!

I really enjoy this tea, even though I am a green tea drinker. Took a couple of brewings to find the sweet spot for my preferences but once found, this is consistently a lovely cup of tea. I brew two tea bags for 12 ounces of 208 degree water, steep for 10-12 minutes and the result is divine. Excellent balance of flavors.

This is one of my favorite teas—smooth blend, lovely aroma, and can a tea be described as warm and comforting? Well, it is. The flavor is so good that I forgive it for making me want five cups in a row. Definitely worth the money! That said, the packaging… oof. They shipped the box in just a bag, so by the time it arrived, it looked like it had gone a few rounds in a wrestling match. Out of sheer curiosity, I counted the teabags—and sure enough, one was missing. (Either it escaped or it was sacrificed during battle.) Still, the tea itself is excellent, and this is the first bad experience I’ve had with this brand. I’d 100% recommend the flavor, but maybe they should bubble-wrap it like it’s fine china.

This tea is amazing. We first tried it at a spa we went to, and we are now in love with it. This tea aroma relaxes and calms. The blend adds a light touch of sweetness.

This tea is probably the best one in the market, we thoroughly enjoy ever sip of it. Can highly recommend it 🙂‼️

If you have not tried this tea then you are do for a treat! First time I bought this was about a decade ago & its flavor stayed with me ever since. It's spicy with a hint of deliciousness. I am addicted to it. I keep buying it every two months. The price is better now too. Ten years ago the price was nearly double. Do try if you like tea. This is a black tea with hot cinnamon. The flavour makes you all warm and toasty.

I assume the sweetness came from the sweet cloves, I normally take my tea without sugar, so the sweet and spicy was not to my liking.
