Very good tea
This is a wonderful tea. It’s good hot or cold, with or without sweetener added. When it’s cold with sweetener added, it’s similar to a powdered soft drink in a cherry or strawberry flavor. Without sweetener, it’s tart and slightly fruity. Hibiscus makes herbal teas smell and taste better, but it’s great all by itself. It does have a pretty strong diuretic effect, so anyone taking diuretics or blood pressure medication should probably check with their physician to make sure it’s safe to consume. One cup consumed separately from medication is usually considered safe. There are many good medical articles about this online and they recommend checking with your physician if you’re being treated for high blood pressure. The price was good compared to what I see in local stores. The individual bags aren’t wrapped separately, but they come in a sliding zipper bag that’s durable. I simply put the entire bag into a storage container for added freshness. The color of the tea is a beautiful raspberry color. If you try to get a second cup out of one teabag, the second cup will be a really pale purplish-grey color. It won’t taste as strong, but it still has flavor. People who like lemon in water would probably enjoy this tea very much. It’s worth taking the time to research the health benefits of hibiscus tea.

Delicious!
This tea is fresh and delicious! It comes in its own zip lock bag to preserve the freshness. There is a really wonderful tea! Good value for the cost.

How to make a great wine cooler
I love this tea. It has a good taste, especially when lightly sweetened, and it looks so beautiful when iced and served in a clear tumbler. It really does bring down my blood pressure (I've measured!), but I have to warn you that it does what first-step blood pressure drugs do -- it is a diuretic, and then some. Also, I like to relax to some New Age or Blues when I drink my tea, which are also helpful in controlling stress, and thus blood pressure, so my study is somewhat less than double-blind or whatever, and it is a statistical study of one. But reviews are opinions written down, and this is mine. Moving on, it is a great tasting tea and blends well with other herbal teas as well as with regular tea. So, referring to the title of my post, I purchased a wine-in-a-box product that is not my favorite Riesling (Why is that so hard to find?) but Pinot Grigio, which is not my favorite under the best of circumstances. But I had a pot of my hibiscus tea in the fridge, so I tried mixing it. It tastes wonderful, the way you'd like a wine cooler to taste and it never does, and the very property that makes hibiscus healthy also seems to allay the effects of drinking cheap wine, something I surmised while conducting primary research, if you get my drift. (No hangover, or at least not much of one.) Here is the ratio I use: Four hibiscus tea bags Four bags of other herbal tea (I like chamomile) 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar, depending on how much you like the enamel on your teeth Four cups boiling water Note: If you add the sugar before you add the boiling water, it makes the tea MUCH sweeter, so you need to make that adjustment, or possibly do a little trial-and-error study. Another note: I like my tea STRONG, but you might not want to use eight tea bags per pot. Let the tea steep as usual. Removing the tea bags is optional, since herbal tea, unlike Pekoe, does not get bitter with additional steeping. Chill -- the tea, not you. Mix the tea and some wine according to how strong you want your drink to be. I do roughly half-and-half. You don't necessarily have to use cheap wine, or even white wine. I found it works equally well with reds I don't particularly like. I would love to hear from anyone who tries this, especially if you find a way to improve on it. Other than buying better wine, I mean.

Lemon Mango Black Tea Organic tastes same as individual pack teabag
I was a bit surprised and let down a bit to find my 100 organic lemon mango black tea bags were just jumbled together in big gallon sized Ziplock bag with a slider open close. Only way I knew this box of teabags were even the lemon mango black tea I ordered was 1 applied sticker on 1 edge of the box....then I opened bag and smelled lemony black tea...then I made a hot 16 oz cup of water in microwave, put in 1 teabag from the box bag and waited, after a couple min I could smell and taste a sweet lemony black tea which when warm had barely a hint of sweet mango and cold only has a sweet lemon flavor to the mellow black tea flavor (almost no bitterness at all to this tea even when teabag left in cup till water is cold). I had first tried this tea from a sample bag of organic teas by multiple companies...it was in an individual paper wrapper with company name, name of tea flavor, organic, and list of ingredients....it also had a much stronger sweet mango flavor that was balanced perfectly with lemon (this first bag from this box is almost all lemon black tea, so the mango barely there and flavor is also slightly a letdown due to that). When ordering 50-100 teabags in a big box or big bag from other fancy tea companies their teabags come individually wrapped like the 18-25 bag grocery store boxes....when the bags or sachets are not individually wrapped then they are usually packed in a nicer container rather than a big gallon commercial Ziplock plastic bag (usually in a resealable foil/Mylar bag with brand and variety info on it or a nice fancy airtight metal tin with brand and variety info on it). I know individual wrapping and better packaging costs more, but how much more would a second sticker on the ziplock bag with brand/variety information like on the box cost? 5 cents more for sticker? 25 cents more to get it applied to bag before closing box? There are plenty of grocery store 100 tea bag boxes with each teabag individually wrapped for under $10, so the price to have it done isn't too high....and 1 more sticker that is already designed and made for outside of box should be available for the inside bag. I personally prefer the individual wrapped bags because if I want to make a gift sample for a friend/family to try out then it is easy to give and easy for them to know which they tried and liked...plus I always thought it helps to keep the tea in the bag fresher and last longer. I'm honestly not sure I got the Davidson's lemon mango black tea since the 1 sticker with info on the box says for ingredients: black tea*, lemon myrtle*, and natural flavor (* denotes organic). That's it. No mango listed at all. Since I had saved the original individual teabag wrapper I first tried this tea flavor from I look at its ingredient list....organic black tea, organic lemon myrtle, and natural flavor....but in its description on the wrapper it says: "lemon mango blends robust organic black tea, organic citrus peel and exotic tropical flavors. We balance sweet-tart essences of passionfruit, lemon, mango and guava with organic black tea for a complex fresh fruit character." But all I can taste from this first teabag is just sweet lemon black tea and only when warm the sweetness may of had a hint of mango to it....unlike my indivially wrapped samples that did taste definitely of mango and lemon. The mango is subtle in this one, but at least it is still a mello nonbitter black tea with strong nontart lemon and strong sweetness. I knew others said other varieties came in big ziplocks for the 100 count boxes, but had hoped not all 100 box varieties were just Zip lock bag with jumbled tea bags...looks like that is how it is. So if you want individual paper wrapper bags then I guess can only buy the 25count or 8 count boxes or samplers. I will update if the tea doesn't stay fresh or strong flavored in a shorter time due to huge bag jumble.

This product arrived early and was well packaged. The Rooibos tea tastes great and contains powerful antioxidants which can empower your immune system. I had read that it is great before bedtime. It worked great for me as it put me to sleep within an hour!

I felt the flavour could have been stronger

100 rooibos unwrapped tea bags without tea string tag. But tastes are OK and standard quality as value package. I will buy it again if they kept in good price point.

I love rooibos tea and drink it regularly. Unfortunately, this particular brand has a very weak flavour even when brewed for more than 5 minutes. If you like a very subtle flavour, this is the rooibos for you but not if you like a most robust flavour.

Apparently bagged in Colorado - the tea is fresh, nicely zip locked and tea bags are not old or tatty. I was looking for the main tea used in Twinnings blended Prince of Wales Tea that was discontinued and Keemun is also a nice evening tea. Just worried if there was any cross contamination with Pineapple Express ... naw - this is organic! Dude! I will order more tea from them in a bit but the boxes have a lot of tea bags and a person's has only one bladder - so I have to pace it out before I order more.
