Great selection of songs . Not just silly kid type songs.

I am delighted with this song book. The choice of songs is excellent. The chords are simple and illustrated. The piano melody is provided. This is everything I wanted in a ukulele song book

Received quickly in good order. Not entirely familiar with it as yet, but seems nice

When you look through the Table of Contents you can hear the songs in your memory. Perhaps the title should really be "Best Classics for Oldies"...but there are some post 60's classics. I am just an "playing for fun" person and one of the things I really like is that the cord shapes are shown with each use of the cord throughout the score. My only "complaint"...I would have gladly paid more for a spiral binding.

I've taken one 4 hour class on playing the ukelele, and I could only play maybe four rudimentary songs afterward. I'm so thankful that I bought this song book because it has taken my playing to a new level. It's exciting and motivating to learn to play songs that I love. I'm still learning new chords and in need of more practice, but I will be able to play well over a dozen new songs thanks to this book!

A good assortment of songs that every casual ukulele player needs to have

I love the set-up and the clarity and largeness of notes and chord images. For a beginner I find it very satisfying and easy to play from. Has some great songs, also. Thanks.

I'm a ukulele beginner and purchased this book mostly because of the songs it offered. There are a few beginner songs, but even several of those are on three pages, which means turning a page in the middle of a song. Also, the chord diagrams are included but are not at the top of the song, which means I have to look through the song to see if I can play the chords (can't play barre chords yet) and how many different chords are in the piece (as a beginner I prefer 5 or fewer different chords). I subsequently purchased one of the "Daily" songbooks, which was more expensive but is designed much better and includes hundreds of songs. Wish I'd saved my money on this one.
