AudioQuest Y splitter - one RCA male to two RCA female 6in (15.24cm) cable

Very well made. Fits snug ,but not too snug. Sturdy and high quality. Used to hook up a subwoofer to my mid fi system. Built to last with ofc copper and gold plated connectors. Fair price for qualty connector. Would buy again.

My reason for this purchase was to connect two subwoofers to my home theater system. The cables have a tight, strong, sturdy connection, but at the same time they come off easily without strain. I'm very happy with their performance. Good riddance to the garbage of Monster Cable and their rip offs!!!!!!!

Ease of use and as described

Great price - fine fit and finish. Currently using to split subwoofer unbalanced pre-outs from receiver to two subwoofers. Works great, nice look. Shipping was fast.

After ordering another subwoofer for the den, I needed a new splitter. The old one went to be used in another room in the house. As with the old one, this one attaches snugly to the wall-mounted subwoofer connection. The two female ends fit snugly with the male subwoofer connection cables. I have noticed no significant degradation in sound quality, if any at all. The old one has been durable but this one is too new to tell.

Used for a stereo audio cable coming from the left preouts of a stereo receiver to the left subwofer. Also another one from the right preouts to the right subwofer. Sounds excellent.

I'm only writing this to encourage people considering it to do a little more research and perhaps consider other options just in case. I purchased this in hopes that I could have my CD transport and streamer plugged into my DAC simultaneously and as long as there was only one signal at a time, it would prevent me having to switch cables. So, it didn't work. At first I assumed it was a limitation of the DAC, which would be actually be understandable, or because my streamer doesn't power off. However, when I unplugged my streamer the transport would play. Also, with the transport off, the DAC would show it was receiving a 192 khz signal, but there was no sound. It would stand to reason that one side worked while the other one doesn't, but that doesn't seem to the case either. I can switch sources between the sides and it will occasionally work from both, one or the other, or not at all. My point is, I just don't know where the issue is. I don't like leaving a 3 star review being that I can't technically isolate the problem, but based on the other reviews I've read, I think it may be worth looking at additional options for those trying to accomplish something similar, particularly since many people seem to have problems with this splitter.

My stereo/multichannel sound system includes Vandersteen bookshelf speakers and two Hsu Research subwoofers. My preamplifier only has one subwoofer output. Using the AudioQuest Y splitter was a no brainer. Bass from the preamp through the Y splitter is very deep. Stereo music, depending on the recording, is punchy and smooth. Movies play cleanly with ferocity. A great purchase.

Questo cavo ad Y non delude le aspettative, del resto stiamo parlando di Audioquest, noto marchio di prodotti Hi-Fi. Leggermente aumentato di prezzo: pagato €16 in data 03/01/2019, al momento costa €18.88. Uso 2 di questi per sdoppiare un'uscita stereo RCA su 2 amplificatori Car in configurazione Dual Mono , perchè nessitano di segnale su entrambe le entrate L+R. Per una configurazione 1 Ampli agli altoparlanti + 1 Ampli al Subwoofer , potete anche considerare l'altra versione del cavo ad Y, cioè il modello F22M, quello con 2 RCA maschi e 1 RCA femmina, cosi risparmierete qualche metro di cavo ,collegandoli direttamente agli amplificatori piutosto che alla sorgente (premesso che gli amplificatori siano molto vicini tra loro, come nell'esempio in foto!). Stessa cosa vale per collegare un Subwoofer Home Theater preamplificato: utilizzando l'altro modello di divisore ad Y (il modello F22M, cioè 2 RCA Maschi ed 1 RCA Femmina) risparmierete anche in questo caso costosi metri di cavo! (vedi disegno) A voi la scelta. Nel mio caso non si segnalano degradi o diminuzioni del segnale.

Das Kabel ist hochwertig verarbeitet passt perfekt einfach zu montieren. Macht was es soll, würde ich wieder kaufen.

Quality construction, did the job of splitting the signal very well indeed. Audioquest products always perform very well in my experience.

Can’t go wrong with AQ stuff. Good quality and firm connector fittings. Get if you need to split signals.
