Lottie's Traditional Barbados Yellow Hot Pepper Sauce

This is a great sauce for stews - I use it in my turkey stew. Very authentic and delicious!

I am a big fan of Bajan hot sauces, and mustard-based sauces in general, like Carolina BBQ. I've tried many of the well-known Bajan sauces out there, and this is without question the best I've ever tasted. It has good heat, a solid mustard presence, and a perfect balance of vinegar and aromatics that gives it a bright flavor. It is a fairly thick sauce with some chunks, need to shake it well. Love this sauce on everything from eggs to sausages, seafood, Asian dishes, pizza, grilled meats, anything. Stop reading reviews and just buy it already.

It is very tasty and Hot as expected!

Not sure what this is supposed to be like, but in my opinion it is a little too runny with a vinegar forward taste. It's basically a watered down spicy mustard, with detectable habanero flavor that lingers quite nicely 😋 I'm tempted to use it for a deviled fish dish, but this sauce seems too expensive for that. I prefer my other, thicker habanero hot sauces, and I can get organic spicy mustard for much less locally. That said, I do appreciate the simple ingredients and low sodium in this product, so I give it 4/5 stars.

A HOT sauce, not some Durkee-level warmth, that actually has a LOT of flavor.

Very long time ago and a little dive bar I think this guy the owner used to go to Barbados every summer and he would bring back some of the sauce. He's tell us a bottle every now and then or we'd have some on a good greasy cheeseburger late at night I miss this sauce I was so happy to find it

Goes very well with pork and chicken. Not so much with beef.

This is so good and I love that there is no thickener in the ingredients. I had tried another brand that is available on Amazon (Aunt M*) and even though the flavor was good, I didn't like the gummy consistency. Lottie's is a perfect Bajan mustard sauce. Good amount of heat. I am so excited to have a go-to Bajan hot sauce that is available in the states since I haven't been able to get to Barbados in a while:)
