I make my own elderberry syrup with honey in the winter to ward off colds and soothe sore throats. I highly recommend this product as it seems to be of good quality and a reasonable price.

Should be able to make 3 jars out of one bag. I spent $20 on this bag and usually I spend $30 on a jar of elderberry syrup from the store that lasts a month. Definitely helps save money and tastes good.

WOW! I don't know about all the stated health benefits, but this stuff smells Great while cooking... So I have my little stove/fireplace keeping me warm in my live in RV. I put a coffee camp percolator on the stove with the Elderberries in it, and as it slowly got up to temp, so did the wonderful aroma! My Gosh! This place smelled like grandma had been cooking blueberry muffins all afternoon in here! After I heard the water boiling for about 20 min, I took a spoonful of the Elderberries out... MY GOSH! They were soft and tender just as stated on the package. And the flavor wasn't as bitter as I expected, just a slight bitter taste as you might expect from a berry. Now the real treat... I mixed some of the Elderberry with my home made milk Kiefer, hit it up with a tad blueberry flavor, and dear reader, let me tell you what! The flavor was/is out of this world! The berries I ate within two days and the complete yield when balanced with water left 2- 750ml bottles full of juice! This stuff is GREAT! I should say too, this was my first experience with Elderberries. Didn't have anything to compare it too other than if it taste good or not. Well let me say, the taste and smell are outstanding.
