Mighty Max Battery 12V 9Ah Replaces APC RBC5 RBC9 RBC22 RBC32 RBC33 Zeus PC9-12 - 2 Pack

I have used Mighty Max batteries since 2006 to replace the batteries in my APC Uninterruptible Power Supplies. I have three units protecting computers and AV gear.My devices are old, so they use very heavy lead-acid batteries. I am afraid to just replace them with LiFePO4 Lithium batteries that are much lighter and can be recharged many more times than lead acid batteries., I fear the recharging circuits original designed for lead acid may not be apt for LiFePO4 batteries and do not want to use anything other than the APC-recommended battery technology.I use one ML 15-12 12V 15AH and two 2V 9AH; the equivalent batteries are used in several different APC UPS devices.The batteries function as they should, but eventually I need to upgrade to newer UPS units that use LiFePO4 technology.As for customer service, FedEx delivered my three batteries in a snowstorm and left them at the street end of a 100-foot-long gravel driveway. The package became covered in snow, and we could not find it despite two attempts during the storm. The next day we looked twice and finally located the batteries by poking the accumulated snow with a walking cane. Unfortunately, the batteries appeared to have been struck by a snowplow! The shipping carton was torn to pieces and the two 9AH batteries were cracked and leaking. The 12AH battery had a 4" by 3" c hunk ripped out of one bottom corner. I put the batteries on some cardboard that was left from the tattered shipping carton. The next morning my spouse was cross with me because when the batteries had fully hawed overnight, battery acid had leaked out on the table where I had placed them!After a couple of calls with Amazon customer service, I learned that Amazon was not able to replace them because Mighty Max uses Amazon to book orders, but Mighty Max ships them from their own warehouse. My computers and AV gear had been unprotected for ten days by the time of this incident.I called Mighty Max customer service, and they were awesome. They understood my concerns and frustration and arranged a shipment of three replacement batteries that arrived two days later. I had used these model batteries for eighteen years because they worked well and more than 50% less expensive than buying the OEM replacement batteries from APC.After they bailed out my bacon, I decided to ALWAYS buy my replacements from Mighty Max. The customer service person empathized with my predicament, reduced my anxiety and took care of the customer (me) quickly and pleasantly.This attention from Mighty Max customer service was exemplary. Their prompt action had a significant effect on my confidence in the company. I really like these guys, and their batteries have never let me down.

Batteries appear to fit the RBC5 spec and hold a charge so far. For the price (compared to an APC branded pack) I don't have any complaints.

These batteries appear to be very good quality. I only wish I could have used them but unfortunately, they did not fit my APC BackUPS 1500. The two bundled together were just tiny bit too tall. But the seller was very gracious, and quick, to refund me. They also requested the dimensions of the old batteries to see if they could offer me something that would work. But I was worried about not getting an exact replacement so just ordered an APC branded battery cartridge. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely order from this seller again.

I bought these to replace the APC battery pack in my UPS. They fit perfectly using the existing spacer and cable assembly. I used packaging tape to wrap the assembly together. It's been in the UPS for a few weeks now without any problems. They're the same size, connectors, and ampacity as the original at a fraction the price. It will be a few years before I'll be able to tell if they last as long, but I have no reason to expect they wont, and even if they do, I'm still ahead of the game price-wise. Good deal.

purchased this battery to replace the OEM battery back in September 2015. Lasted a few days past the projected 5 years. Just finished placing another replacement battery today, looking forward to another quality battery for my APC. thank you for a great product.

Worked for exactly 7 months in my Smart-UPs 700 APC before both 1/2s of double pack started bulging and became nonfunctional.Short lifespan!

Installation of these batteries was simple. Only time will tell if they operate as well as the OEMs they replaced. Expectation is that they will last around three years, supporting operation of a cable modem, router and digital phone for an hour or three power interruption.

Replaced my oem batteries in my ups with these. Good price and value, shipped to my door fast!The replacement operation in my ups was simple, but did require me to reuse the connector to the ups itself - simply had to cut the plastic wrap holding the old batteries to that connector, disconnect, and reconnect with these new batteries, then rewrap the batteries with plastic or packing tape to keep them held together tightly.I'm not using software for battery age or soft shutdown, having this unit mostly on av equipment, so I didn't bother trying to reset that in the ups interface, however it's definitely holding a charge, where the old batteries would run flat after 5-10 seconds after the power went out.
