So my daughter volunteers at a retirement home/assisted living facility where I work. She’s disabled so this lets her feel purposeful. One day some residents told her they wished volunteer tags had names as it can be hard for them to remember those sorts of things. So she got on Amazon and got a snazzy one haha. It’s super bright so even residents with low vision can see her name with ease. She read the reviews and found most people couldn’t use the accompanying program to set the tag so she used one recommended in a review at hobbytools.com. She found programming the tag was easy which she’s grateful for as she can’t do coding at all. The tag is the perfect size to support the structure of her volunteer tag which tends to slip around (magnetic). If she had to complain she says the fact there is no magnet option with the tag despite the description saying there is is the only real problem. But a pin works just as well. Just more damaging to the lanyard. When the device is first turned on it shows the battery level and then says M1-8 before proceeding to the programmed content. It only does this when first turned on. The programmed content replays.

Super hard to get working, its cheaper than other models, you can see that by just looking at the insides, it works but i was never able to get it to change what was on the display, decent outer quality and its a nametag so the size is nametag size lol

I bought this to supplement my work name badge. When I first got them a charge would last for 2 consecutive eight- hour shifts. Now, 3 months later, a charge will only last for one shift. It isn't a problem yet. It has brightness settings and can display emoji's but I haven't played with that feature. The software comes on a mini CD ROM. I don't know if software is available on the internet. So make sure your computer has the CD ROM drive. I still get lots of compliments.

Very cool and fun name tags. A bit of an issue getting to the software as we are a Mac household and none of our computers have a CD drive. The only way to access the software needed to program the badges is through the CD that is included and on a windows computer. Would have given 5 stars if the software was available for download.

This product is complete trash It doesn’t scroll. You can put in several phrases but you have to continue to push the button to make it change to the next phrases. The Bluetooth doesn’t connect. Spend more money because this one is trash Cheap buttons. Just an overall bad product. I purchased some last year and they were good must have been a different company because this one is not good

If you want to draw attention to yourself this scrolling wearable bill board will do the job. It is bright, easy to use, fabulous colors and great quality. It is very reasonable in price and great value for your money.

I saw a coworker with a blue led badge, and wanted to find one I could program myself. I liked the pink color. The disc was not compatible with my CDRom drive. BUT, I found a safe program called BMP Badge. With that, I can put whatever I want to scroll through. Which is mostly bible verses. I can set the brightness level, set a chasing light frame to catch the eye, and set it to scroll, blink, or do other features. I now look for led badge colors that are similar in brand. I have other colors of green, blue, and red along with my pink. Currently looking for yellow and white in this brand. The badge will last 16+ hours before I need to charge it. That's pretty good. Hookup to the computer to change the message only takes a few minutes. Lovely. I've had mine over a year without a problem. Been a real bang for my buck. If you want a reliable led badge, look no further. This is the one for you!

first off it came with no magnets so the only way to affix it is using the pin. a little disappointing. haven't tried plugging it into my computer yet to mess with software but the badge its self seams like its fairly good, the LED part, the casing is just plastic and kinda cheap feeling. it should get the job done but just disappointed that it didn't come with what they said it would. thankfully i have a few of those magnets that i can just put onto it but i shouldn't have to do that.
