Q: The description says there are 16 tools...I only count/find 12...???

The spike on the back of the knife with a hole in it is called a reamer or awl and is considered 2 tools in one. The flathead screwdriver is 3 tools in one, A flathead screwdriver, a bottle opener, and a wire stripper. On the opposite side of the knife from the large flathead screwdriver is a small flat head screw driver combined with a can opener. The pliers also have a crimper so its considered 2 tools in 1. 1. Large Blade 2. Small Blade 3. Scissors 4-5. Pliers + Crimpers 6-8. Large Flathead Screwdriver + Bottle Opener + Wire Stripper 9-10. Small Flathead Screwdriver + Can Opener 11-12. Reamer/Awl + Sewing-eye 13. Phillips Screwdriver 14. Multipurpose Hook 15. Toothpick 16. Tweezers

Q: It says in the description on amazon its manufactured in china. who has the latest one to check it. i just got a champ and it says swiss made

There are very good knockoffs made in China, and sold here as genuine. Then there are the preowned ones. They are genuine, but may have scratches - on the scales or tools. The price may give it away - why are some sold for 20% less than others and 30% less than on the Victorinox website? I bought two SwissChamps - one from the SAK website. It was stolen by a co-worker. I later bought another here from Amazon for half what I paid before. The second was genuine, but slightly scratched, dirty and with fingerprints on the tools, but otherwise fine. My guess it was resold from some confiscated by the TSA.
