I'm not going to repeat all the positives most other people are stating; Yes, once you install it, it is bar-none the best upgrade you can make to your Ender.I will however state that I had a lot of trouble installing it. I consider myself at least an intermediate with most handy type things, such as this. But here are the troubles I ran into:1. The instructions are not very intuitive. They are organized better than some chinese instructions I've received in other items, but when you get to the flash/upgrade portion, unless you are already very experienced with the concept of flashing firmware with super-technical programs (i.e. not "turn key" push a single button), then your best bet is to find a youtube video and follow along there.2. Apparently my Ender came with the plugs GLUED onto my 1.1.4 motherboard. This absolutely baffled me. When you reach the steps that you need to swap the cables to attach the BLtouch to the motherboard, I had to grab my exacto knife and very careful cut the hardened glue away from the plugs. This added an extra full hour to the process. Note: This is not the fault of the seller of this item, it's the fault of Creality who makes Ender 3 Pro.3. This bundle did not come with any instructions on how to install the extras, such as the springs or the replacement tube, etc. Fortunately, there is Youtube. Just be forewarned that you're going to need the internet and videos to do this, unless you already know how it works.All-in-all, it took me nearly 4 hours to install everything, and I was not being casual about it. Unscrewing things, installing, cable managing (!!), flashing, bed leveling, all of this is quite technical, and will absolutely require more than "20 minutes" as some other reviewer posted.But yes, once you get it going, it is amazing, and you will wonder how you ever lived without it prior. Great kit put together by F1rst Layer. BL Touch firmware was a bit tricky to setup for a firmware/software newbie, but was able to fumble my way through it by paying close attention to the instructions and referencing a few reddit posts and Teaching Tech on Youtube. Had a hiccup for a while, where I thought I had everything setup properly but when I went to print, it would auto bed level and then basically stop the print. Turned out to be something funky with my SD card. I reformatted it and reloaded my print file and now works as it should. Took a couple hours of tinkering to upgrade firmware to get ABL working, but now my 1st layers come out perfect every time and no more manual bed leveling! The included pin 27 board that allows the BL touch to interface with the main board caused an interference with my original enclosure cover, so had to print a new one from Thingiverse. Overall, would recommend this kit and am glad to have ABL, but beware, it might take some time tinkering to get it all to work.

The media could not be loaded.  What a great upgrade! Perfect first layers ever time. This is a little more than about an hour project if you do it right and follow all the steps. This kit comes with a genuine BLtouch and all necessary hardware to install to a clean factory look on your Ender 3, Ender 3 pro, Ender 3X, Ender 5, Ender 5 pro, even the CR10, CR10S, CR10S4, CR10 S5, and CR20pro.For Install and setup follow YouTube videos and take your time! I took the time to re-route all wires into the bundle that enters the extruder for a factory installed and professional look.Here are some tips I can give you for install.This is the big one. Take your time, don’t rush and try and install this upgrade in 10 minutes. You will only cause yourself a huge headache. Make sure you follow the pin hookup direction for your Dupont plug and the board that piggybacks your display. The download you get with the new firmware from Creality WILL NOT WORK ON Mac OS. I had to use my wife’s computer for setup and install (PC). The only major problem I had is that I could not open the programer ISP updater. After some google-fu I found out that you must RENAME the whole folder that the download comes in due to the fact that is has Chinese alphabet characters in it, It caused problems and errors when trying to open the ISP EXE application and it also wouldn’t even close correctly. Once I changed that name PROBLEM SOLVED. Flashed firmware, setup Z offset and was up and running. Definitely worth the money. I can't believe the value of this kit. Just the BLtouch when purchased separately is around $50. This kit includes the BLtouch kit, new Capricorn Bowden tube, new pneumatic connectors, and yellow bed springs. Whats not to love!!!

Issue is not with the product itself, but with the poor instructions and software. Product came well packaged and in a timely manner and the parts are of respectable quality, but the assembly/programing instructions are lacking. There are several varities of main board and the one I have is different than the one shown in the instructions even though the part is for my printer. It took several Youtube videos to get the assembly right and a lot of digging on the Creality site to locate the programing software and upgrade file (and the right one!) No matter how I tried, I couldn't get the programing to flash the board, just got errors. As of right now, I've disconnected the BLtouch and am researching fixes to the problem up and including replacing the board itself with the most current. Very disappointing to have to go through this, the printer is is actually a very respectable product and out of the box is working great, I really wanted to use the BLTouch to improve the bed leveling and thus improving the tolerances and the over-all quality of the parts I'm working on. So - Cmon Creality, you've got a respectable product, let's get it together and provide functional software (not cloned! the programer not only cloned, its an old version to boot) and clear instructions! If I had been able to install and program with minimal fuss I'd have given a 5 star rating!
