Great little tool, very happy, came in fast, product made in the USA (awesome), comes as shown in the picture. Slider, plastic protective cover, and direction booklet. Simple but well thought tool. booklet containsA-estimating range, target estimation, nearby referencesB-Determining range to targetC-correcting for bullet drop, drop data,verification, conversion to MILs, conversion to MOAD-correction for wind driftE-Correcting for uphill/downhill shots, bullet drop commentator, range compensation, verificationSummary and then some practice examplesit's ranges are from target size of 4" to 20' target size. 100-2000 yards (wish it had meters), and bullet drop from 1.75" to 100"overall very happy, should be a good tool to help me work on my range estimation...it seems well made, all plastic so rain wont be an issue,the print on plastic markings may not do well with long visits to sandy environments (where I happen to work) but the plastic case will help protect it...buy it and try it, I think most shooters wanting to increase their skills with less reliance on technology would find this to be a useful asset.

Price seems a bit steep until you realize this is a high quality "slide rule" tool requiring close tolerances of printing. alignment and assembly in a compact, reliable and durable format. The companion guide is concise and easy to comprehend which reduces the learning curve associated with learning to use a milliradian based rifle scope reticle for accurate firing solutions. Delivery via Amazon was fast and the product arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended for it's specific application!

This thing is like magic. I still confirm with the range finder but if I am off then I am not off by much. Very nice and 1/10th the weight of the electronic range finder

Outstanding product! Well made, clear and concise information. Properly cared for, this slide rule will outlast it's owner. Comes with a very thorough users manual with practice problems to work through. Using this tool will help you to become familiar with the concept of ranging with your scopes reticle and applying holdovers with either MIL or MOA values. One side of the card is in yards and the other side is in meters. Another nice feature is the inclinometer scale on the edge of the card that allows the shooter to acquire (AHR) actual horizontal range from (LOSR) line of sight range to correct bullet drop for uphill/downhill shots. Look up the angle to your target and in the center of the card the cosign of that angle is already corrected for you. No calculator to get smashed, no batteries to die. It works as advertised. One thing you should know is that your target needs to cover at least 1 mil in order to use the chart. For example an 18in target will cover 1 mil @ 500 yards. That is as far as the chart goes for that size target. You can do multiples and make it work farther but it is more difficult.

This Mildot Master is incredible! For what it is designed to do, I don't see how it could be better. Mildot ranging in either yards or meters, shot angle adjustment, and if you have your caliber/load ballistic drop charts it will even give your your turret adjustments for your shot! All in a small RIVETED plastic laminated package. Easily added to your range bag or hunting blind for quick reference. Designed on a slide rule concept, there is no batteries to run out, mechanics to break, etc. It's lightning quick to use as well. If you have spent big money on a quality scope and you don't spend the $25-30 for this, then sorry but you are a fool plain and simple!

This Science is exact but not perfect. Know two Rifle or Human shooters are the same as The Rifle Chamber and Ammo.and will work in Global,and Climatic and Inclement weather.As Nature Gives us not a man made thing dont ya know !Easy to Understand to use Mil Dot Scopes. Tried it Today. and I did not need to Use my Range finder after I learned the Foundation of how to use the Mil Dot gauge. I use the range finder to find approximate Target Size Yardage and Drop .All you need to do is the same MOA in Windage too. But I wil use Electronic wind gauge and use smoke to eye ball wind.from wind gauge for mental reference. But I will always use my E. Range finder to Set Up Targets on the range .

Great for any shooter or hunter of the .223 m4. The chart is a helpful tool in the field or down range.
