Bought from the warehouse and it came with a few dents. A few hammer blows from the inside knocked them right out -- good as new! I love this can!

This trash can has been the champion of our family by far. I personally found it very easy to clean, and it fits very well in the small kitchen we have! While this did replace a larger trash can which caused us to have to take out trash sooner, the addition of a recycling section in an all-in-one unit that doesn't take up a large footprint has been a blessing.So far it has mostly survived all three kids, but not without minor issues. Bear in mind that the stainless steel model *will* show dents and scratches, so as long as you aren't dragging things across it or smacking things into it hard, this is a non-issue. Obviously for me with 3 kids, I cannot and will not complain because it comes with the territory!One of the shocks has failed, and it looks like the other one is starting to fail as well. It appears the leak is coming out of the top seal where the plunger goes through, so it probably just wore out. After 5 years and literally tens of thousands of times absorbing closing forces... Still not going to complain. That is a great service life for something like this!The interior plastic started to break apart, but I think this is moreso caused by us dropping the containers in. Seeing as how it is only one side, I'll leave that up to you to decide if that is a big deal but it doesn't affect structural rigidity or function so again ... Not going to complain!At the end of the day, it has been a phenomenal investment and easily took the place of a larger trash and smaller separate recycling bin. The only thing I wish is that it would stop sliding around, but some quick sticky pad work made this a non issue.If you are looking for a stylish, durable, trash can than can survive the rigors of kids: this will do the trick. While it does have some minor durability concerns, none of them affected operation - as I type this, I have the kids removed and am sanitizing the cans! A great buy I have never once regretted!

I like the sleek compact design, it fits perfectly in the space I needed it for. The only thing is it's sometimes hard to make the bags stay in place bc the top of the cans are flush with the top of the outer bin holding both cans. It's not terribly inconvenient, but the bags do slip down if something heavy is put into the bins.

the positive aspects of the can were that it had wheels (very handy) and was shorter than others and fit well in a small space. However, those positive attributes were greatly eclipsed by major flaws.1. The worst problem was that the bags were supposed to be kept in place by a rectangular piece of plastic that was supposed to sit on the top of the bucket inside. It also had moveable pieces that were supposed to clamp the bag edge so that it would not fall down into the compartment. Neither one worked at all. First it was nearly impossible to put the bag edge in the "clamps". The edges of the frame that were supposed to hold the bag holder steady did not work and the frame and the bag were constantly falling into the bucket and spilling the contents into the bucket. the frame itself did not fit as the hinge for the bucket handle meant that the flimsy frame was bowed inward and could not support the bag. I spent way too much time and frustration replacing the bags, and way too much time pulling the trash bag back up and trying to put it back in the frame. The method of holding the bag up in the bucket was designed by st In any case, the entire design, from start to finish, was flawed and produced so much frustration that I would kick the can.2. The batteries to run the touch opening of the doors were inside and just above the trash. The battery cover was constantly opening by itself and dumping the batteries into the trash.3. Last but certainly not least the lids would randomly and constantly open and close, open and close. Enough to drive you crazy.Overall nothing about this product worked at all and I would suggest that if you are looking at buying, you would be better off keeping the trash bags on the floor and filling them when necessary, rather than spending money on this product.
