This is the second time we have used it on our marble and it works well. This sealant also has great longevity and does not dull the marble.HOW TO GET NO SMEAR MARKS: Follow the directions, but after soaking for 15 minutes use a microfiber rag and absorb as much liquid as you can. Then use another DRY microfiber rag to wipe over the surface again. If the second microfiber rag is still dry (as it should be or grab a third microfiber rag) buff out all of the sealant in a circular motion. The table should be completely dry after all of your wiping and buffing. It’s an arm workout but a great product! I came to write a review after seeing some negative experiences. I fully believe the smear marks are from drying/buffing incorrectly

I wanted to protect our outdoor granite counter-tops from the elements as well as those occasional bbq mistakes. After doing quite a bit of research I decided to go with the Dupont Natural Stone Sealer.Application was easy (no mask needed as it was outside but if you're doing it inside, use a mask the odor is quite strong). What I was truly surprised with was the color and sheen it gave my counter-tops after the application.I have since BBq'd a few times with some sauce etc. that made its way to the granite and clean-up was a breeze.Highly recommend the Natural Stone Sealer if you're looking to protect your granite.

i use the stone tech cleaner daily and the sealer every 2 years and both do a great job keeping my black granite kitchen counter tops shiny and new, including two 36" diameter pub table tops (one indoors and one outdoors).the stone tech products are a bit 'pricey' but so are my granite tops so it's a no-brainer. use as directed and it'll do for you as it does for me; however, please note that i never leave stains on the granite longer than 15-20 minutes (i.e., and i certainly wouldn't recommend anyone leaving stains/water on the counter overnight) and i think this is why i don't have to seal as often as other folks (once a year).before sealing, test an heavy use area with a few drops of water. let 'em stand for 15-20 minutes. if they soak in, it's time to seal; if they remain as beads, it's not time to seal --plain and simple.

I didn't think it was a very satisfactory product for a stone floor, Spraying it on I thought was hard to do. I would rather put it on with a rag. And it dried unevenly. I don't see how you could keep it wet for 15 minutes as you backed out of the room. This was a small bathroom floor.

Easy to use: follow instructions to spray, wait, and wipe. I used new microfiber cleaning cloths that worked well. Water clean up, so I was able to wash and reuse for cleaning. Use in a ventilated area even though the odor isn't bad.

Easy application with 3 inch short bristle rush. Kept surface evenly wet for 20 min then quickly wiped dry with old cotton t-shirt. Water does not bead like a freshly waxed car, water just puddled on countertop surface but did not soak in or discolor surface after 30 minutes. Not much change in amount of shine in this old granite surface. I guess it worked since water did not penetrate after 30 min. Hoping for more beading and more shine.

Easy to use and did not have as much of an odor as I thought it would. My counters look great now and are repelling liquids and stains. They look like new. Highly recommend. I would say that it leaves some marks on painted walls and trim that are close, so just cover things with towels or wipe immediately. This would be the same with any product like this.

Wow! This stuff is magic. I had some scrap granite slab that I made a table out of. After grinding and polishing, I needed to finish the slab so that the color and grain of the rock was retained. This stuff sprays on easily and dries quickly. The result is a high-quality table top that I am proud to display.
