Very usefull tool for working on motorbikes
I bought this tool because i have started working on my new and old motorbikes. Initially i bought it only for taking out the wheel nuts so i can change the tyres. It does the job! Also, without this tool i wouldn't be able to take off the front sprocket of older motorbikes, which was factory sealed and not changed in 20 years! Set the maximum torque on this wrench, and pushed it with the full force and took the sprocket out!Pros:Easy to set the torque with the included lock/unclock pin at the bottom, very heavy and very sturdy, has a nice case to store it while not using it. Also, has ft-lb on the other side, so you can set NM and FT.Cons:The tips is not locking (no lock), but it can be good if you want to tap with the hammer. If you setting NM it can be sometimes tricky to see the exact number, so you endup by roughly setting the torque. For the price this is a very good purchase!

Great Torque Wrench.
Got this for my car and needed it to check and do up wheel nuts (and other things). Very good range going from 25 ftlb to 250 ftlb. Came in a nice plastic box with a reasonable set of instructions. This tool is fine for the amature mechanic and is well priced. The selection of the desired torque setting is done by twisting the end untill the twisting handle lines up with the appropriate mark. When storing it shouuld be returned to the lowest setting so as not to strain the spring. Good piece of kit that I hope to use soon. Note: it doesn't come with any sockets, you will need to supply these separately.

Works well at a good price
Works well at a good price. Good low torque values for the likes of spark plugs. Seems to have good build quality and I will use again in the future

The price
I saw the price of this thought at that it would be a massive risk in buying with intention for professional use. How surprised was I!? Upon opening the plastic black case that arrives with clips, I induced it to my hands was overwhelmed by the quality. What a massive surprise from Basics, keep it up!

Listen for the click! Great torque wrench for hobbiests and general use
The media could not be loaded. I like this torque wrench for casual works. I wouldn't say it's good enough for real pressure sensitive uses, but you get what you pay for. Adjusting bikes/trampoline nuts - it's ideal.I had to find a YouTube video to work out what the click was like when it reaches the torque - hopefully the video I uploaded helps. It's a small click, but if you're looking out for it you'll notice it. The best option is to go slow when you're getting close to the torque you need. You can double check if you've missed it by slowly turning again - it'll click straight away if it's at the right torque.Switch on the back to go from clockwise to anticlockwise. Torque only works in the clockwise direction.Easy enough to adjust the dial, just undo the screw at the bottom to loosen, turn the ribbed handle part, then retighten the screw.

Rubbish
Rubbish. Wrench had to be returned. No ‘click’ once the torque setting is reached or exceeded. I guess this is why it’s so cheap. You get what you pay for. Read the reviews and there’s a mixture of experiences.

Cheap and does the job!
Easy to use - just rotate the bottom to adjust the torque setting you require from the ratchet. Nice and solid looking, and done the job for changing my front suspension! Remember to buy a 1/2" to 3/8" or 1/4" if you need to use smaller sockets, otherwise all good!

Adjustment numerals very small
Seemingly robust tool, certainly heavy and supplied with clear instructions and strong storage case. But the adjustment numerals are too hard for my old eyes to see so tool returned.
