Breitsamer Sunflower Raw Honey Jar, 17.6 Ounce

Breitsamer has top tier products, & sunflower honey is one type that I especially prefer. I was lucky enough to live near a discount store that had a variety of Breitsamer honeys at about $4 per jar, so I was spoiled for a while. After Covid, it seemed to become unavailable & the local grocery stores certainly don’t stock this brand. So I went for the splurge but I only use it for certain uses: on Greek yogurt, on English muffins, certain salad dressings, & in teas. Btw, I use this to sweeten fresh lemon thyme when I have sore throat or cold-tastes great and coats throat while acting as gentle expectant minus nasty side effects of many cold medicines, so healthy way to get cold relief. The texture is fine, and I had no issues with crystallization, which wouldn’t be a problem imo. At this splurge price, I wouldn’t use it for certain uses like adding to Boston baked beans as one example. Have never had any problems with delivery with Amazon-deliveries are always speedy and intact/ in good shape. Note that I would never knock stars off the product for any delivery issues or for too high a price because I believe people are interested in the quality of the product. I can’t afford approximately $25 for a jar of honey so will be looking for other brands of sunflower honey and other favorite types like lavender, linden, acacia etc. value for money? To much for my taste, but if you want to splurge, you’ll probably forget price after you taste it.minor observation, I love the jar,b/c of wide mouth and “erogonomic” feel.

I've tried countless jars of honey but this is by far the best I tasted and little expensive but well worth it. The taste is so good you can eat right from the jar. I mix it in with my granola and yogurt. WOW buy this you won't be disappointed.

I really like this honey I thought it was a bit pricey, but I couldn’t find it anywhere but on Amazon. I paid 16.97 for it a little less than 30 days ago now I notice the price is $28.99 I guess I won’t be buying it anytime soon

I have ordered this honey many times. i really like the thickness of it and how it doesn't get honey all over my counter when i use it. And the taste is sweet without being cloying. However, the bottle arrived in bad shape. The packer put it in too large a box so when it arrived the top was all cracked and broken. fortunately, with the cardboard sealant, no honey was spilled all over. A smaller box would have solved this problem. It had never happened before.

We love Breitsamer honey, so we often order it from Amazon. This shipment arrived just as planned, but it wasn’t the sunflower honey we ordered, it was the rapsflower honey. You can’t return grocery products, so it is fortunate that the rapsflower honey is another of our favorites! So, five stars for taste, but only three for order accuracy.

This is the best quality honey - and I love the convenient spout for pouring.
