Nine West Women's Foodie Monk Strap Oxford

I have the Sam Edelman Balfour Oxfords in a size 5, and I wanted to buy an extra pair as back up. Since every retailer was out of size 5s, I decided to try the Nine West Oxfords for a nicer price.Right off the bat, these shoes are definitely not as stiff as my Sam Edelman Oxfords. The shoe felt very comfortable and the insides feel soft! Not sure if there would be much of a breaking in period at all because it feels like it would mold to your feet. The shape and color is also gorgeous. I wasn't crazy about the brass buckles which just seem a little cheap to me.Some of the reviews said the shoes ran small, so I bought a 6 hoping it'd be small enough for my size 5 feet. These don't fit, I would say they're a true to size 6. I will be returning them...but I love them!

When I received this, I was disappointed to see that the leather is not as rich and shiny as it looks in the picture, and it doesn't have the hue I would expected for "cognac" colored. That said, they were comfortable - I have somewhat narrow frets and high arches though, so you may need to size up if you don't.

Have had them for several months now and wear them all the time. They have held up very very well. They are a perfect colour of navy and I get compliments all the time on the unique style. Highly recommend them. Only drawback is the buckles are finicky and you can't get the shoe on and off without buckling/unbuckling...a minor complaint...i'm just lazy!

This is a really nice shoe. It's comfortable, lightweight, and has a great silhoutte. I found the fit to be just as expected. My only word of caution is that it is has a very slick heel. I have tried scuffing the edges down, but I still find that I will slip if there's any sort of liquid on a non-carpeted walking surface. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Looks good, good quality, and comfortable (which is very important to me!). I mostly sit at work, but I wear them all day including my commute which varies between driving the car, standing on the subway, and walking a few blocks in the city.

These shoes are beautiful and I recieve many compliments from both men and women. They were true to size and need not to be broken end. The color was rich and the stitching was durable. The hardware is plated so be careful if you have nickel allergies. Otherwise enjoy.

These shoes are fabulous! They looked "mannish" on line but they are actually quite classic and extremely comfortable. Look great with corduroy pants as well as slim leg pants. Great fit and very stylish. Thank you for making a ladies shoe that isn't so ridiculously tall or spikey or that makes you slump forward just trying to walk in them. Smart!

Awesome looking shoes but I wish the color was darker and its kinda narrow. As some reviewers mentioned its better to order a half a size up. I'm a size 8 but the 8.5 fits perfectly. I'm hoping that the more I wear this shoes the material will break in a little..
