Review of Phlizon 2020 – 1000W Grow LightI purchased the Phlizon 2020 1000W grow light about a month ago, and after using it for approximately 10 hours a day, every day, I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations.At first, I was disappointed to find out that this model does not include a Daisy Chain port, which means I have to adjust the lamp manually rather than linking it with other units. This added a bit more work to my routine. However, the manufacturer responded immediately, offered a sincere apology for the misunderstanding, and fully refunded my purchase as promised. I truly appreciate their outstanding customer support.As for the product’s performance, it has been excellent:The lamp has been running smoothly without any issues, delivering strong and consistent light output.I use it for a shallow tank aquarium, and both the aquatic and emergent plants have grown so vigorously that I’ve already had to transplant some.My fish and apple snails (Pomacea sp.) are reproducing normally, which tells me that all conditions, including lighting, are optimal and healthy.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the electric bill only increased by about $4.00 in the last month. That’s very efficient for a light with this intensity.It generates very little heat, which helps keep the system cool and stable.In summary, I highly recommend this lamp for its brightness, energy efficiency, low heat output, and especially the excellent customer service provided by the manufacturer. Just keep in mind that this specific model does NOT have a Daisy Chain connection, so if you plan to link multiple lights, you may want to consider a different model.That said, I plan to purchase more grow lights for future projects, and I won’t hesitate to choose Phlizon again.

This light can do a lot for its size 100w draw from the wall, will easily cover a 3x3 foot print at 18in over canopy!I would strongly recommend this for a great quantum board choice for a Veg room. I would compair this to a 4x4 T5. Currently i have this covering two mother plants and they are holding strong, new growth daily.The heat sink is a little small, if it was a little thicker it would help keep it cooler.The dimmer works, at 0 though it does still shine light so best use with a timer to get it to fully go out.Comes with all the hangers and rope ratches you need with the light.Will update if anything changes!

I like how bright this light is capable of being. Have the light paired with a humidifier in a 2.5' x 4' enclosed space for my ferns that in the past have struggled during the winter. Doesn't produce excessive heat which is great! So far I am very satisfied with this product! Would recommend to anyone that wants a high quality light at a low quality price.

This board comes in $100 cheaper than the equivalent spiderfarmer and it’s gonna blow everything I’ve used in its pricepoint out of the water. These are authentic lm301b’s and the spectrum is dialed in perfectly. I have grown with led’s since they became a thing and I cycle through a lot of different amazon and alibaba lights. From experience, I can tell right away when the spectrum is off on a new light. Anything with the cheaper smd diodes I find inadequate and I have a couple alibaba lights with authentic 301b’s that cause weird bud growth cuz the spectrum is off. The viparspectras and mars hydros are fine for veg but they do not compete with proper quantum boards like this. Nothing I found on amazon at this wattage With authentic Samsung chips came in this cheap.The board runs very cool. It’s cooler than everything I own if I’m being honest. The lack of heat sinks isn’t a factor since the board is very thin. Don’t let that be a turn off cuz this board has excellent manufacturing. The dimmer doesn’t turn the light off but you’ll be connecting this to a timer anyways so who cares. Where you’re saving money is on the driver but I’d rather cut corners there than on the diodes. I argue boards this size don’t need the more expensive meanwell drivers. Sure, you could probably eek out a little more power or efficiency but that’s negligible for this size application. I hope this is going to be the game breaker I expect it to be. Everyone else is gonna have to lower their prices or use better chips to compete if this board becomes popular. The new vivosun with 301bs looks good too but it only comes in a little 100w. I expect the new vivosun and these phlizon boards to be the ones that shake things up for the next year.

I really enjoy the output of the light itself, but I really wish that I were able to string multiple lights together unto one uniform control. That is sadly not an option and is entirely a manual control via the control knob on the light. For a small area, this light is great. For a large area, do your research before purchase.
