Hydrofarm FLF27DF 27-watt CFL, Floor Plant Light

This floor lamp is exactly what we were looking for. Our plants are moved inside during the winter and we needed a good light source since we live in a small condo with limited sunlight. This lamp is easy to assemble, shines brightly on our plants and the best feature is the ability to bend and flex the lamp so it is hitting the exact spot you desire. This lamp design is sleek and fits easily beside our balcony window making it difficult to see among all the plant pots. I would highly recommend this lamp for nurturing your plants or reading a book.

I bought two of these lights for my plants because living in the Midwest means it won’t be very sunny the next few months. Last year I struggled with some plants not doing too well due to low light. One light I bought was new but packaging damaged in the warehouse. It came out of the box with zero marks or dents and has worked perfect since. The second one was used but was still mostly packaged like the new one. Upon thorough investigation, there’s one small scratch at the base but without looking for it, I would have never noticed. After assembling, it worked great for the first few minutes then no longer worked. I was worried I got a broken light. I bought a new bulb and it’s been working great ever since. My plants are thriving and growing! I love the look of these because they are like a modern lamp and can be tucked in close to my plant stand providing more coverage to more plants!

I really like this grow light lamp. I bend it to point downwards and the distance for plant height pointing that way is about 4 ft. It has been six years and my lamp stopped working so I ordered another one today. I don't know if 6 years is a good length of time for this lamps longevity so I gave only 4 stars for a short life. I had already purchased additional bulbs so I chose to stay with this lamp. The price has increased by $10-$15 dollars over 6 years.

I do not want to criticize this item. I have ordered 4 or five of these. This is the first one that I've had trouble with. My problem is, up to now I have had no trouble with this lamp. I have recycled the original box because of that. The only way I can ship it now is with whatever I have on hand. It's very tall. I don't think it will be worth much when it gets there.

I’ve been looking for a way to add plants to a room in my house that is shaded by large trees. There are plenty of windows but very little light. Hence my search for a plant grow light. I wanted something that didn’t look industrial, could serve as a reading light next to a chair since I’d want to remove the floor lamp previously there, and one that would provide a reasonable amount of light to keep a few succulents from etiolating and a smaller houseplant from losing all its color. This does exactly that! The top of this shelf that is getting a decent amount of light is 28” long by 12” deep. I had no problem putting it together myself (although the screw was missing) and was easily able to set it up with a simple plug in timer so I don’t have to switch it on/off each day. I cannot attest to how my plants will like it but I see no reason to think they won’t! And if those plants not directly under the light seem to be unhappy I can easily rotate them. Edit- one year later and I am happy as I was at first! Plants are doing well, I can use the light to read by, it’s not a terribly offensive look and, with a timer, I’ve had no problem with the switch giving out. A winner!

I thought this was a good light and my plants liked it and it worked fine for 8 months. I hooked it up to a timer when I got it so I wouldn't hurt the on/off switch by excessive use. It stopped turning on so I thought the bulb was burned out and I bought another special bulb. I tried the new bulb but it also didn't work even after trying other outlets. It's an expensive light considering it broke so soon. Edited to add:. I wrote to the company on their website since the light is supposed to have a 1 year warranty. I received no response even though I left my phone number. Don't trust that this has a 1 year warranty because clearly it does not if the company does not stand behind their product. I even bought a new lightbulb thinking that was the problem and now I am stuck with an extra expensive light bulb and no light.

Although I knew plants needed light to grow, I really didn't know they would grow toward the light. A leafy green house plant I've had for twenty years was knocked over, and I decided I had to move it. The only space available had little light, so I found this wonderful gem on Amazon and bought it, assembled, and turned it on. I could not believe my eyes. The leaves that had been growing downward suddenly reversed course and started growing up toward the light. It obviously has been deprived for twenty years even though it stayed alive and growing. One of the problems I had in trying to find a suitable light was that almost all the ones I saw were designed to provide light for more than one plant. I only had one. So this one is perfect. It could probably work for more than one plant if they were side by side. It has a goose neck so you can angle the light as needed and it can be raised or lowered. It's a delight to watch those little leaves climb toward the light.

I purchased one of these and was so pleased that I purchased another. Both have worked perfectly since Day 1. Unlike many LED lamps popular these days, I like the fact that these bulbs are easily replaceable. The light produced is very bright and my plants have been growing like crazy. Right now they are being used on tomato "volunteers" that sprung up the end of growing season that I'd brought indoors for the winter. These are perfect for taller plants that will no longer fit on the shelving I use for starting plants for next growing season. I expect to get many years out of these sturdy lamps.

Great product. Esthetic, nice design that fits any decor, sturdy and elegant, easy to use, much flexibility. And it does the job, the plants grow well since I started using it. Absolutely nothing wrong to report about it, I recommend it – and I even might buy another one soon. It's worth the price.

This is the second delivery. The first one didn’t work because it had a broken wire. The box as delivered obviously had been previously opened and the items inside were sloppily wrapped so one can easily assume this was a re-shipment. 🤬Disappointing to say the least but the replacement delivery was a new box and everything inside was properly wrapped. The lamp itself is perfect for what I need and actually very good qualities 👍🏾

Love this led grow light! It offers really great lighting coverage for large house plants that cant get access to natural sunlight. It was extremely easy to assemble and is sturdy lamp with flexible head for positioning if you have multiple plants. Can work well as a really nice lamp for the house as well.

The Agro-Light is perfect for our fern in its stand. We were having such difficulty without the light to keep our plants looking good. Now they have all greened up and are healthy and thriving in the middle of a darker winter with low light. So happy!

It looks and works as advertised but my plant did not like the light. Could be my fault as I grew it with a led grow light until it was to big and tried to switch to this light which is fluorescent bulbs and lower wattage.
