My kids love this book. I put all the Easter books away but they wouldn’t let me take this one away. For a 2 and 4 year old trying to find a hidden egg is a game they could play for hours. Not to mention how beautiful it is.

My girls love reading it over and over and trying to find the hidden egg. What a great idea for a board book!

Mixing in a bit of hide-and-seek, this is an book which will have kids hunting for eggs again and again.Taking on the fun of Easter egg hunting, these pages challenge young readers to go on a search to find them where ever they can. Two doors are found on each page—in the most unexpected places—where an egg, or none, or maybe two are waiting to be discovered. But it's not as simple as opening a door and finding a bright egg. The wheels on the side of he page turn the eggs, making what's behind each door a surprise every time.The illustrations are lovingly done and invite with Spring feelings. The 'door's are incorporated nicely, making it fun to discover each one. And the characters...such as mice and birds...add an extra drop of cuteness to the mix. There is a short phrase on each page, such as 'guess which hand', but this pales in comparison to the searching fun.It's a cute idea which made me and my kids smile. The wheel is simple to operate and the doors are fun to peek behind. The idea of having the eggs change, is quite clever and insures an extra play factor. It's a sweet book for Easter that young listeners are sure to enjoy.I received a complimentary copy and found the entire thing clever and cute. So, I'm leaving my honest thoughts.
