Q: How many minutes does the heat stay in the cap after heating in microwave?

Honestly, for about 10-15mins. Then, you would have to re-heat it again.

Q: Is this good for color?

No. I don't think so because 1. The cap fits real tight to your head. 2. The cap needs to be removed often and place into the microwave to reheat. I hope this answered your question.

Q: Is it 1 size fits all?

Yes I believe it is. I have big curly hair and it fits me just fine

Q: I don't have a microwave, and was wondering if this cap could be heated up in hot/boiling water?

Yes, it can. This is the main reason that I purchase this one. I place it in my kitchen sink and turn the cap inside out. I pour a kettle of boiling water directly inside of the cap. I also add hot water in the sink as well. I let it sit about a minute or so. I pour the water out and dry it out on the inside. It works and holds heat the same as in a microwave 10-15 minutes.
