Polder IBC-9236-06 Ironing Board Cover, 36 by 12-Inch, Metallic Blue

This thing has shaved my ironing time by more than half. My old ironing board cover was so old the yellow spongey stuff was falling away revealing the metal grid underneath so I went out finding a replacement. 36x12" is apparently not a very common size.For some ironing is a therapeutic activity. For me the longer I iron the more I start to grind my teeth. Both populations either way will appreciate the faster ironing time you get from this guy with its beefy thickness and heat reflective quality.

We had an older small ironing board whose cover had seen better days. I purchased this one hoping to just refurbish it rather than having to completely replace a perfectly good board.The fit is definitely on the larger side and it did hang over and was very loose to start with. I just simply took a staple gun and stapled it tight much like you'd do when re-upholstering a chair. Now it works great. Its nice too look at, is definitely of a higher quality material and has some nice padding under it (although some of that is from the previous cover).Don't be afraid to purchase it, just have a plan to make it fit (like the staple gun).

I bought this to go on my built in the wall ironing board because I read that it would fit. I can't remember the brand of my board but this one does NOT fit it! I ended up having to pin it with safety pins all over the back of it to hold it on. If it had just fit, I would have given 5 stars.

The cover did not fit well, but I suppose this can't really be blamed on the cover. It is sort of a universal cover for small ironing boards. The quality seems about consistent with previous covers I have bought.

I have been looking for the a specifically sized ironing board cover for a small wall mounted board. When I found this cover I expected a simple thin cover and was completey impressed with a substantial cover that fits our board perfectly making ironing very easy.

I needed a replacement cover and pad for my folding wall-mounted ironing board. The cover and pad I was replacing were Lifestyle--cost at Amazon is currently $26.69 plus over $6 shipping. I decided to try this cover instead--I ordered two and was able to get free shipping through Amazon. The covers fit my board just fine, and the quality is the same as the Lifestyle. The only difference I can see is that the Lifestyle has a little hole on each side to accomodate the hardware where the board folds. The holes didn't keep the hardware from eventually wearing through the cover and pad at that point anyway, and now I have a spare anyway!

I ordered this item based on the reviews. It does not fit the in the wall drop down ironing board-no way.

I couldn't find a small ironing board cover in any stores so I had to go online to find one. This is a good cover but the pad could be thicker and maybe come in other colors besides blue.
