I purchased this because I have a dachshund who developed IVDD and HATES being in a crate. He typically destroys crates in order to get out and ends up further hurting himself.This crate is absolutely Houdini proof. It is not only extremely sturdy but it is well thought out. The top lifting allows you to lift an injured dog without having to maneuver them through the door. It also allows you to attend to them without them trying to escape.The double latches on the side door means that the door is VERY securely closed so he doesn't spend so much energy even trying to escape.The wheels allow the crate to be moved around the house with ease EXCEPT the crate is a bit wide to fit though and interior door while assembled. This is fantastic when you have a recuperating dog that wants to be near you but shouldn't be walking.There is plenty of room for my standard size dachshund to stretch out fully. Truthfully, when they're uninjured, this comfortably holds both of my dachshunds. It would easily accommodate all medium sized dogs.This is a heavy item and, while not difficult to assemble, I do feel that having two people there to put it together is helpful.Overall, this is a heavy duty, fantastic purchase that, when properly cared for, should outlast any dogs lifetime.

Our dog had a history of abuse from when she was a pup where she was abandoned in a crate. Needless to say, she had a terrible time in traditional fold-out crates, going so far as to tear one apart and escape it. However, because she had just been hit by a car and needed to recover, she needed to stay in the crate to heal. Once we got her this, everything changed. There is no way she can break out thanks to the high-quality construction, but she doesn't try to. I think she feels much more secure in it. We are not 100% sure why, but we think it may be due to the secure construction and the fact it is elevated off the ground. This crate is now her safe space and she is now perfectly crate trained. There is more than enough room for her to spin and move in the crate. The crate is also extremely easy to clean. It can be hosed down if needed, but for day-to-day maintenance there is a pull out tray to collect any hair. The wheels also make it easy to move the crate out of its spot for cleaning under it as well. The crate is in as great of shape as the day we got it despite its heavy use.The only thing to be aware of is that the bottom of the crate is a grate, so you will need to put a bed in it for your dog to be comfortable. So, just be aware of that!

This crate is the best! It is super easy to set up all you gotta do is “unfold” it screw in a few screws in place and the four wheels and that is it. It literally took me less than ten minutes to get it altogether. It is made very well and I love the how lightweight it is, despite how big and being made of metal. I have the peace of mind that my dog, Blue (70# pitbull) cannot break out whatsoever. And even in an event of an emergency I can just roll him out while inside the crate itself and not worry about setting him loose and getting either lost bc of the chaos, in a dog fight if there are people outside with their own dogs, possibly shot by the police bc no police department has training for that. I say this because I’ve have seen a house on fire and when fire arrives they obviously break the doors snd the dogs run out and these are unfortunate circumstances that have happened with the exception of an officer shooting a dog. So for everyone who has bought this crate or thinking of getting it this is another peace of mind. I do suggest to all pet owners either outside of the door or by the fence post a sign of how many pets you have and emergency instructions such as, not dog/cat friendly, fearful may bite, etc., and keep leashes outside so emergency personnel can leash up your dogs and keep crates easy to find or outside as well because yes one cop or fire personnel will do it. this dog cage has been the best purchase i’ve made. my dog has separation anxiety and anytime we would leave the house he somehow got out of his cage then proceeded to bring other items (boots, tennis shoes, bowls, etc) in the bed with him and destroy the enclosed porch he stays on. since we bought this cage he has NOT escaped once. he’s tried. severallll times to no avail. even at 3am he tries to escape. i even sent this cage to my mil who also has a dog with separation anxiety and it has been wonderful for her as well. DO NOT hesitate. just purchase the cage i promise you won’t regret it

We’ve had this crate a little over a month and it’s been great! Our houdini boxer has yet to escape or chew it apart to get out! That’s a win for us! She can’t get to the latches to get them unlocked either. We did put a crate mat in it so she doesn’t have to lay on the wire bottom of the crate. We did not put the wheels on it, we won’t be moving it around so we just left them off. I put it together by myself but would have been easier with two people. It’s big and bulky but does the job for us so it was worth the money.

This kennel is perfect for a big dog that has houdini skills. Easy to put together. I did not put wheels on at this time . Will in future.The seller is great. The kennel was delivered by FedEx to wrong address. I reached out to FedEx 7 times to get this kennel to my house. They kept telling me they would take care of getting to my house next day. Wrong ! I went and picked up at the other address 2.7 miles away. Lemberi gave me a full refund plus told me to keep the kennel for all the frustration this caused . Will use this seller again.
