Honestly, I'm so glad I purchased this product. It has completely transformed the comfort of my bed and assisted in my sleep quality and physical health. I'll add some details below.Firstly, you get the mattress topper itself and a cover (kind of like a sleeping bag that surrounds the topper). This has straps on each corner to help the topper stay on top of your regular mattress to stop it moving about.When I first opened the box, I unfolded the topper and just lay it down in a room with the windows open. I probably didn't need to do this, but sometimes new mattress toppers can smell for a day or so.Then I put the topper inside the cover and put it on top of my regular mattress. I've been loving it ever since.At first it feels almost a bit hard, but very soon after, you feel very supported by the topper and soon you learn to love the comfort it provides. At night, I don't toss and turn as much, I get easily comfortable on it and when I wake up I feel great. My muscles/bones/joints don't ache like they used to and I feel like I've had a really decent rest.Honestly, even if you had a rubbish regular mattress, throw one of these on top and it'll feel like it's brand new. My regular mattress doesn't creak anymore and I actually miss my bed when I'm not sleeping on it.If you cannot tell from my review, I love this thing. Amazing purchase and I cannot recommend it enough.I can see more expensive ones on Amazon, but I struggle to imagine what they can do that this product can't.If you're unsure, just buy one, you won't regret it.

We brought a new mattress online a few weeks ago and unfortunately found it quite hard to sleep on, it's supposed to be soft to medium comfort but i would say more like medium to firm! Anyway to save all the agro if returning the mattress i decided to buy a topper and after reading lots and lots of reviews decided that the best type of topper would be a memory foam topper so decided to go for the aviator 5cm memory foam topper to go on our new double mattress as it had lots of positive reviews, we have now slept on this for a week and although the first two nights i woke numerous times and was sceptical if this was the answer to our problem i must say we have now got used to it and it's very comfortable and have had a few good nights sleep and woke up with a lot less aches and pains than without it. It has transformed our firm (too hard) mattress into a much softer and way more comfortable mattress!! It did smell as most memory foam does but we left the duvet off and bedroom window open for a few days and the smell has now gone, i would highly recommend this topper but give yourself and your body time to adjust, it's very comfy once you have got used to it and a good quality cover as well. Very good buy all round.

We have a good quality mattress, but although not old, I was waking up achy (perhaps it's me that's old, ha ha). I bought this mattress topper to make it a little more comfortable, and it has.It was a good price for a 5cm topper, and I extracted it from it's box, and left it to open up on our spare bed for a couple of days before using it; there were no really strong smells of rubber, and the slight odour that was there went pretty quickly.The elasticated corner straps on the cover could have done with being a bit bigger, as we have quite a thick mattress and it doesn't hook over very easily, but it's not the be all and end all. The topper itself is nice and comfortable, and it has definitely helped give more quality to sleeping.I think that if, like me, you want to give your mattress a new lease of life, this topper is a good way to prevent spending hundreds of pounds on a new mattress.

Having had a sink in memory foam mattress in the past and not achieving same result with my current expensive mattress I purchased this topper. Have only used for 3 nights and already feeling so much relief from back pain. It’s so comfortable. There is a definite smell still but I left in a spare room for 2 days before putting on my bed and the smell has almost disappeared now. Can’t believe how good it is for the price.

I recently purchased this topper as I had heard about the benefits of memory foam, and this seemed like a good buy, based on the description and features.Although the topper does make our rather hard mattress more comfortable to sleep on, it does nothing to take away body heat. In fact, even without the heating on in our bedroom, I find myself waking up in the night absolutely roasting.In addition, the topper smells pretty bad too. In fact my wife took off the cover after one day and washed it, believing that would help - Spoiler, it didn't.In terms of the pain relief, I haven't found it has made any difference to my back issues, probably because I am waking up constantly to move to a cooler spot.Unless my sleep improves as a direct result of purchasing this item, I will probably return it soon.

Fine after smell dissipates after about a week. Fits well and stays in place with robust elastic straps. Decent thickness. Solves problem of over firm mattress cheaply.

I bought this topper because my husband found his brand new, very expensive, mattress with a wool top uncomfortable. (He has osteoarthritis in his shoulders as well as other problems in his legs.) It has done the trick, and he is now sleeping in comfort. One tiny problem, the elastic straps don’t stop it slipping because of its silky cover, so I have to push it back into place about once a week when it moves a couple of inches and overlaps the other side of the bed. But that’s a tiny gripe, for I have to admit he’s a restless sleeper. Oh, and another thing, it’s a very manageable size and weight when it arrives in its box and therefore very easy to put on the bed. I am so pleased I am going to get another one for our home abroad.
