This book is compr he solve on common surgical problems including their investigations, differential diagnosis and management etc. can possible fit your lab coat pocket if it's not junky. Really great to carry around on ward rounds not just on call. All of the on call books are great.

Great for intern year of surgery. Reminds you of labs to orders when you are trying to move fast.

Addresses issues by category, e.g. what to work up with complaint of nausea, pain, chest pain. It is a good skeleton for guiding you through what to think about. Not comprehensive, you will still need to look up drug doses, or specific medications.

Product was improperly bound. Started falling apart before I’ve been able to use it. Will be contacting amazon and publisher to get a replacement.

Covers almost all problems for oncall sugical resident.Can come up with a prompt work up and treatment with in less than 5 minutes.

I really liked this book as you can review the common pre and post operative complications on the go and can carry this in your pocket.

great book

Pretty good, but it often leaves you wanting more treatment info. Waste a lot of time with stuff you don't need to know and gets a little off track being complete to describe disease processes or "questions to ask." I was hoping it would have more - first give 500mL NS bolus and if no improvement try x y or z
