Because I was once a Bloodhound in a previous life, I have an extremely sensitive nose so I have to be picky about essential oils. Some of them claim to be pure essential oils but the scent makes it obvious that it's just perfume instead. (Rant: I can smell most of you perfumed people from 20ft away. Lighten up, I'm begging you. It's supposed to be a light scent appreciated by someone who hugs or kisses you, not a chemical weapon that takes out asthmatics and allergy sufferers within a 20ft radius.) I've used expensive brands, at least until I found a quality oil (initials are E.G. if you must know) but they don't always have the scent I want. Enter NOW brand essential oils. I've tried a few and can confirm that they are PURE essential oils (not perfumed junk) and the aromas have all been exactly what they claim to be. No funky smells or slightly "off" odors. Lemongrass smells like lemongrass, mint smells like mint, everything smells exactly as it should! This brand is completely reliable, I haven't had a bad one yet, and the price CAN NOT BE BEAT.

This is THE BEST tea tree oil I've ever used. It is MUCH stronger than ALL other brands I have tried! Use this brand 2 judge ALL others! I have been buying this brand for years & recently made the mistake of buying a different brand that was supposedly 100% tea tree oil; but, it was not as potent as NOW brand tea tree oil. I reordered NOW brand, & I will never buy tea tree oil from that other brand. At first, the smell & taste is totally GROSS; but, U become accustomed 2 it as U realize the health benefits. The 16 oz. size is a GREAT value at this price. HINT: U can dilute it with coconut, or almond oil B4 applying it directly to skin. HINT: Add a few drops of peppermint, or eucalyptus oil to the mixture to improve the smell. WARNING: I read it is toxic 2 birds; so, beware. WARNING: I spilled this whilst attempting 2 pour in2 a smaller bottle bc white plastic inhibitor inside the bottle came out. WARNING: I am NOT responsible 4 ANY information that I have regurgitated here from others’ information & online research. Records indicate that tea tree oil has been used for thousands of years by various indigenous people. Some of the many traditional healing uses purported for tea tree oil include: Acne Aftershave: face, legs & bikini area & razor Bumps Antiseptic 4 insect bites, sores, cuts, sunburns & other burns Chickenpox Cold sores Colds, sinus, chest congestion (Add 2 vaporizer, bath water, or put couple drops on the shower wall.)(I usually use NOW Eucalyptus & NOW peppermint oil 4 this) Dandruff, or itching scalp (Add a small amount 2 shampoo) Deodorant Disinfectant & cleaning: wounds Disinfectant & cleaning: Natural All Purpose Cleaner 4 your Home Disinfectant & cleaning: laundry (add a few drops) Dry cuticles Earaches Halitosis (bad breath) Use one drop tea tree oil and one drop of NOW peppermint oil in 1 teaspoon of pure coconut oil. Swish in your mouth & expectorate! (If U put 2 much tea tree oil in it--it will gag U & U might vomit!) Hormonal cysts: helps prevents hormonal cysts from developing into full blown cysts. Apply after mixing about 2-3 drops with 1 pump of DML lotion. Infections: Bacterial Infections: Fungal (Athlete's Foot, Ringworm, candida, jock itch & toenail fungus) Infections: MRSA Infections: Prohibit from piercings, scrapes, cuts, insect bites and burns. Infections: Staph Boils Lice prevention (Add a small amount 2 shampoo) Lice treatment (mix 2 teaspoons with eight ounces of baby shampoo, and let it soak in the hair for at least 30 minutes. Rinse with water; then, rinse with a 50/50 vinegar mixture; then, comb out the hair & repeat the wash. Mold killer & preventer Mouthwash (I use as mouthwash. It Prevents Gum Disease and Fight Cavities.) Muscle Soother & Reliever: Feet, back, stomach, any muscles--NOT 4 your eyes!) Skin Rashes (i.e., eczema, psoriasis, poison ivy, dermatitis, skin depigmentation caused by tinea versicolor, etc.)(use full strength twice a day) Skin Tags: A couple of drops on a band aid--do NOT pull off skin tag-WAIT 4 it 2 fall off! Spa Foot soak Toothpaste (I use as toothpaste. It Prevents Gum Disease and Fight Cavities.) Wart Removal: A couple of drops on a band aid--do NOT pull off wart-WAIT 4 it 2 fall off! LOVE IT!

Bottle came leaking. Otherwise fine

Tea Tree Oil has literally dozens of uses and applications. This is the reason we opted to try using it. We specifically chose to go with the now brand as it was minimum 50% cheaper then most places when you purchase in bulk. And the 16 oz bottle offers the most bang for the buck [at least at the writing of this review]. At first we purchased some 4 oz bottles, but then opted to buy the larger 16 oz ones of whatever Essential Oil we were purchasing at the time, such as Tea Tree Oil now. What we do is just refill the smaller bottles when the time comes as its more convenient. As far as the product is concerned, its worked with what we've chosen to use it for. Just a month ago I ran into a serious case of the pox and that left me with scars all over my back and in my arms. For the last week and a half I've been alternating using Tea Tree Oil and Lavender a few times a day on the scars and they have slowly begun fading away! Not only that, but Tea Tree oil has helped in dealing with a some insect bites as well. Lastly, another application we've used Tea Tree oil for is for some swelling on my foot. After applying some with a Q-tip all over the area, I let it seep into the skin and voila, after waking up the next day the swelling has gone down. All in all we are pleased with our purchase and will buy again, as am sure we will fly through this product at warp speed. Its much better then dealing with medicines and side effects!
