Clapbox Cajon CB02 Flow -Black, Oak Wood (H:50 W:30 L:30) - 3 Internal Snares

I was quite skeptical about this cajon model, as I have never played it before nor heard of any friend owning one from Clapbox. Well, my dad loves playing percussion instruments and I was quite researching about either getting him a djembe , a tank drum or a Cajon. I am glad I settled for a Clapbox Cajon without breaking my bank. Here is what I love about it - 1. Packaging and Shipping : It was carefully packed with proper insulation and padding and the instrument was in excellent condition with no signs of wear of scuffs. 2. Build quality : It does feel like quite premium Oak wood material with all the edges and the ends finished and made well. 3. Sound : This is what I loved most about it - It does have 3 tones to it , the Bass the upper corner snare and the treble tone at the edges. The bass when played indoors and with proper palm technique has a good thump to it. The fills sound well when you slide your foot on it. Didnt try playing it outdoors but it does a pretty good job for the indoor playing. Again this is an Oak wood Cajon , I am an amateur and havent really tried a different wood cajon but its pretty enjoyable to listen to. What I dont like : Wish it came with a travel bag, which is sold separately but thats true to most musical instruments that are in the Market. Overall, very happy with the product by Clapbox. My dad loves it! It is Highly recommended !

Sound quality is good. Build materials are high quality. Value for price. But packing was not upto expectation, it could be improved, so i will cut one star.

Its my second musical instrument and i never thought its gonna be such an important part now of my daily life. Super easy to play and amazing sound quality. Being at home during lockdown was made so much fun with this Cajone as i ve spent quality time with my family with musical evenings. Thank you Clapbox for such wonderful product. I had also bought how to play online session which are being used by my daughters and it really teaches u from scratch. 5 out of 5 on the build quality too.. super sturdy and gives u a lot of confidence when u are sitting on it.

Nice instrument for beginners and learners i can perform infront of people with it as it has a good sound and bass
