In the star rating questions, it refers to suction power. There is no suction so that's confusing. The downfalls are that, while it appears to be metal (maybe I missed that in the description), it is lightweight plastic so that means it might break easily. Also, to move the arm into position, it actually has predetermined positions. Personally, I would rather have stiffness to the arm and be able to position it exactly where I would like BUT the predetermined positions are pretty good. The clamp has rubber linings for good grip and it opens wide to accommodate large bottles. Overall, this is a great product but it would have received 5 stars if it was metal.

Glad I took the time to look through the reviews. The arm will not move, and the plastic is far too cheap to force it to move. It was clear that something wasn't right. Once I read that you have to loosen the screws in order to get it to move -- it now works great. I will not give 5 stars for something that had no instructions and no tool provided to make it work. It's very cheap plastic and feels like it will not last. I hope I'm wrong!

Works very well. This is the second one I've purchased.

This is a nice little gadget. If you have a full, heavy bottle of nail polish, I suggest you flip it around, as it will not hold the bottle like the ad shows it. But it works well flipped around so the bottle can rest on the neck of the arm. It is very flexible. Doesn’t fall over. I also added a rubber bumper to better hold the bottle, as the weak material used for the grip will allow a heavy bottle to slide out.. It does work on odd shaped bottles, even square bottles.
