Tips on smelling good and not buying used boots!
As it's been said before, buy a size down since they stretch. I'm a 6.5, so I bought a 6. They stretched to a 7, but are very comfortable.I've only had problems with my tall classic black ones, the hard part at the heel bends over and actually rubs on my heel and gives me a blister. It's kind of funny since I got them to wear in lieu of my shoes that are uncomfortable and give me blisters. I'm sure the company would fix them if I took the time to send them in, but I never remember to. It's the only pair I've had problems with. I've had the boots and slippers, and also gifted the slippers. The only downside of the slippers (at least for men) is they can get pretty stinky. :D I always use (Earth Theraputics) Tea Tree foot spray daily, and would highly recommend it to people who wear UGG's, especially those of you who don't wear socks! It keeps your feet smelling nice and also has a cooling sensation. There's nothing I can say that hasn't been said a hundred times over, so I'm going to share my experience with buying UGG's on Amazon below.I just had a terrible experience purchasing a pair of UGG's on Amazon. I had previously bought mine (as well as those given as gifts) at Nordstrom, however, they were out of the size I needed so I went to Amazon. I feel obligated to warn others after this happened. I purchased the Classic Tall (women's) boots in Chestnut from "Trendystars Boutique" using 1 day Prime shipping. I check my email and see the estimated delivery date for 8 days later, and also that the boots will be in stock 3 days after my purchase date (despite showing they had a pair left when I bought them). I called Amazon to cancel the order, and the rep helped me locate another pair that was Prime Eligible which is when I purchased the Classic Tall (Women's) boots in Chestnut from "Whats Hot". The delivery estimate was correct, showing the next day for arrival. They did in fact show up the next day, however, they were not what I ordered. I got a pair of heavily worn UGG's, so much that the treading was worn down, they smelled pretty foul, had a huge open tear at the seam, several stains on each boot (one measuring over 5" long), and my personal favorite, crusted food debris.I then got caught up in a finger pointing battle. I called Amazon because there was oddly enough, no option to Contact the Seller. I get the seller's number, but no-one answers. I make two more calls to Amazon and finally squeeze the seller's email from them. A day later, I had a response. The seller blamed Amazon, claiming that Amazon most likely accepted a return from someone and then resold them to me. The problem with this is, according to the 4 different Amazon reps I spoke to, all (damaged/defective/whatever) returns are sent back to the seller. If there were perhaps a slight flaw on one boot, I may understand, but there's no way something so heavily damaged was overlooked. Anyone could have taken a one-second glance at these boots and know they were used (and very old). Take my word for it, if you buy these boots for someone, ship them to yourself and check them first. I'd have been mortified if I didn't look first and gave these to someone.Anyway, the third time was a charm. Amazon handled my refund and helped me to order a new pair, waiving the Prime fee (not like it's much anyway, but it's a nice gesture). The third pair (same style, color, and size) were ordered from ShoesCentral (for $1.00 cheaper than others, woo-hoo). They showed up first thing in the morning the day after ordering and were in perfect condition, stuffed, stickers on the soles, wrapped, boxed and well packaged.

Torn b/w UGGs and EMUs? Read me!
I spent several days researching the right pair of boots. I narrowed it down to UGGs which had very positive reviews but were pricey, and EMUs which seemed to be basically the same product for half the price. Sounds too good to be true? It is.Here is what I found:- UGGs are made of sheepskin inside and out, and cost $130-$160 forthe most popular type (called Classic, short or tall), more for the"fancier" varieties (but I honestly prefer the look of the Classicmodel)- EMUs have TWO types of products: (1) sheepskin inside and out, and(2) cowhide outside, merino wool inside. The first variety cost thesame as the UGGs, the second one (not as cozy, not as comfi) costabout half the priceSo, I went with the UGGs which appear to be the more original/popular and am VERY VERY happy - these boots really insulate you from the harsh cold completely. Happy feet are worth the $$ for me in thise case. I got the tall variety in grey, and LOVE LOVE LOVE them.Another misconception that I'd like to correct - NEITHER is 100% waterproof - as in they'll basically keep you warm and dry in a reasonable amount of rain/snow, but if you drench them it will show (common sense). UGGs has real waterproof models which are more like regular snow boots etc. UGGs also has a water-resistant treatment to improve the durability, but friends I spoke to didn't do that and haven't had any water seeping in when she's worn UGGs in the rain.So basically, the real deal sheepskin product costs the same (and is similar in quality, comfort).I had such a hard time figuring this out - shame on all the websites for sneakily pretending that the cheaper EMUs are made of the same material, which they are not!

BEST EVER!!
First of all I have been seeing and hearing about Uggs for awhile now. I had never tried these boots on before so I was a little hesitant in ordering them on line here at Amazon. My feet are very particular about what they let me wear. But when I got these the other day I tried them on and they felt good. Although, I did think that they would be a little taller (up to my knee). Living here in Arkansas it has to be really cold for me to be able to wear these since they have so much fur inside. Today was the day though. It's 32 degrees out and so I put them on (barefoot because with socks they are too tight) with a pair of brown jeggings, rust colored laced up knit top. Let me say that my little toes are dancing! These boots are FANTASTIC AND FABULOUS!!!!!! Even though they are quite expensive I wish I could afford to have them in every color and style. I ordered these for my early 53rd birthday (12/20) present to myself. And, let me say it's the best birthday present to myself I have ever gotten. I am never taking these off. I don't care if it is 100 degrees out side. The only negative is that they are narrow around the calf. But thank goodness my calves are not real big. But if you have big calves then these boots would be too small for you. The only improvement I could suggest is to make them a wee bit bigger in the calf. And, last but not least girls & ladies no matter what kind of financial situation you have, you need to get at least one pair of Uggs. You won't be disappointed!

Love these boots!
Great! I am usually a 9 1/2 in a boot but I got the 9 because the 10 felt too loose on my foot. The 9 was a little snug but will stretch out to a perfect fit!

Black feet!
Am wearing these for the first time today without socks and my feet are black with dye! I did check they were real Uggs as they feel like felt rather than suede. Have had Uggs in the past and these do not feel the same. I was in Greece a couple of weeks ago and these don't seem any better than the cheap fakes on sale out there - which I steered clear of in favour of "real" Uggs.Am contacting Amazon about these issues..Beware before buying these.
