Installed this in my first custom loop after realizing I had not installed a drain mechanism. Had to have a plug in it as the valve wouldn't close 100%. Real pain the backside, as soon as you removed the plug coolant would come out. Replaced with a reputable brand and no more leaks. Get what you pay for.

Mine leaks from the valve over an extended period of time, was initially impercievable throughout the leak test. The leak puddle came off along with the paint below it, now theres a barron metal spot, doesn't look very good. Returning is at a price too.Definitely get this if you don't care about your time or rig.

opening on one end looks a little restrictive for the flow, but I'm using it for a drain, so that will be just fine. quality is good.

It works, but the handle doesn't have a positive stop. Meaning, it can keep rotating 360°. You would just have to know that perpendicular means it's off. But it doesn't leak, which is good enough.
