It's worth it.
Holder is like rubber and holds the caulk good. It has a nylon string that connects the holder and stem pocket part which is a complaint with other holders that have a cheap chain. I don't see this ever breaking. The caulk is good too. Over all it's good.

Nice and sticks to the cue well, although a bit dirty
Although Predator has released a newer version of the pure performance chalk, this 1080 still hit home base for how well it performs. On average, I can get 6-7 hits before needing to reapply chalk, but if you have played for more than a couple of months, you would reapply much more often, so miscue is not a common thing for this chalk. On another note, the chalk seems to stick too well to the cue ball, causing it to get dirty and slid more often. It is very miniscule of a situation, but again, if you decide to buy this chalk, chances that you have a dying passion for pool table already. A box of 5 pieces will last you a year, or if you have a bunch of school work like me, forever. This also comes with a chalk holder than can be attached to your pants. Although I just hold it in my hand, this would be nice for some amateur players who need to move around a lot and reapply chalks.

Great chalk, holder is ~meh~
For the money I’m happy. Even fully inserted into the holder, the chalk will tend to fall out every once in a while though. Seeing as how it’s only like a dollar or so more than the chalk alone, I’d definitely buy this for the extra holder. I stick it far down in my pocket so the chalk kinda faces up from pushing on my pocket, makes it harder for it to fall out. Would be nice if it fit more snugly onto the chalk with a small hole in the bottom to push it up as it wears down.

Good chalk & holder
I like this chalk and holder a lot. I use it everytime I play with no issues. Chalk sticks to cue tip nicely. It is a little difficult to replace the chalk in the holder.
