Pretty decent tasting chocolate. Most notable kudos awarded for not being excessively oversweetened as many alternatives are. Will buy again as long as price remains reasonable.

PBN consistently produces the best value Micellar Casein on the market by a fairly large margin. The 2kg Vanilla flavour is a great example – it tastes pretty good and mixes well in my Shakesphere shaker, resulting in a smooth, lump-free shake. I find it helps me recover overnight after a good workout, and helps keep me feeling fuller for longer. Now, it's true that it's not quite up to the quality standard of some more premium and well-known brands that boast a slightly better texture or more pronounced flavour profile. However, here's the crucial part: at the time of reviewing, this PBN casein is about 1/3rd of the price per 100g compared to some of those top-tier options. Taking that significant price difference into account, the minor quality distinction is more than made up for by the substantial savings. For anyone serious about consistent protein intake without breaking the bank, this is the smart choice. I'll definitely be sticking with PBN for my casein needs going forward.

Okay so I really dislike the taste of this one made as normal. Normally you would add 1 scoop which is about 30g and add 200ml of water. And most protein powder that works very well but with this brand/flavour it's horrible However I remembered a trick with casine I used to do which is make it into a pudding rather than a drink. For that you take the normal 30g and add only 60g of water to it. So far less water. The ratio above works v well. You mix it with a spoon and get a type of pudding And that way it's really nice So I will buy more of this as I like this simple protein pudding. But I won't be using this as a drink

I trialled casein 6 months or so ago and have kept using it since then. I'm not sure if I see any noticeable difference in terms of muscle growth/maintenance, however I do find that taking casein before bed prevents me getting hungry during the night. This alone makes it worth it to me. Many other protein powders have become prohibitively expensive over the last 12-18 months, so I have been switching brands a lot. Having found PBN I have found my new go-to though. Their flavours are great - not too overpowering or sickly - and the powder mixes fairly well. The powder is finer than many, which means it does clump more, but if you mix it well and leave it to stand for 5 minutes it's fine. The price point is fantastic, and it's not a low quality protein mix like many cheaper powders.

It's so thick at the recommended dilution it's crazy. Its like glopping chocolate cake mix into your mouth. From a personal taste standpoint i find it oddly indulgent, but it's obviously far from ideal. Protein:Calorie ratio is good for my needs.

Really solid casein for the price. Mixes thick, which is expected, and works well with milk. Keeps me full overnight and helps with recovery. The chocolate flavour is decent—more milky than rich—and not overly sweet. Only downside is a slightly chalky texture if not mixed well. Still, brilliant value for a 2kg tub.

Ich habe schon einige Casein-Produkte probiert, aber das PBN Micellar Casein in Schokolade hat mich echt positiv überrascht. Der Geschmack ist angenehm schokoladig – nicht zu süß, nicht künstlich, lässt sich super mit Wasser oder Milch anrühren und bleibt dabei schön cremig. Besonders abends vor dem Schlafengehen oder als Snack zwischendurch ideal, weil es lange sättigt und langsam vom Körper aufgenommen wird. Auch die Löslichkeit passt, kein nerviges Klumpen wie bei manch anderen Pulvern. Preis-Leistung ist in meinen Augen top, gerade für die große 2kg Packung.

Wspaniały smak i rozpuszczalność. Szkoda tylko, że nie ma więcej smaków do przetestowania.

Preis weltklasse, 22 EUR für 2kg Casein. Ja leute Casein wird, egal welcher Hersteller, immer ein sandiges Mundgefühl verursachen, nur das kapiert ihr Experten nicht. Vanille geschmack auch lecker, zusammen mit Whey Vanille das perfekte 2k-System. Auch wirklich gut zum kochen und backen für Griesbrei, Kuchen etc. Kann auch in relativ heißes Wasser gemischt werden ohne Probs, im Gegensatz zu Whey was dann kluppt. Glaub mir oder nicht, aber ihr werdet kein besseres Casein finden, vll. vom Geschmack, aber Löslichkeit und Wirkung ist für Preis Weltklasse.
