Where do I begin. Our 70 pound chocolate lab pulls the sand worms from Dune. He’s broken 2 collars and 3 harnesses out of pure strength and to the demise of my wallet.No more! This training collar is up there with the 7 wonders of the world. First walk using it was like we had a brand new dog. We apply training and reinforce good behaviors but this collar is next level.Walking with this for the first time is how I imagine man felt when he first made fire. How Robert Plant felt after recording stairway to heaven. I no longer feel like I need Tommy John surgery after every walk, and my dog loves it too. It’s worlds ahead of any other pinch collar we’ve used.

I have a very active working line, German Shepherd. I have tried numerous prong collars and always found them to be ineffective, cumbersome, and difficult difficult to put on and take off. This collar is all that the others weren’t!I really like that once you put it on and in place it doesn’t shift on his neck so I am able to quickly attach his leash without having to turn his collar around all the time. It is lightweight and he responds to commands more quickly.It is a very high-quality and functional prong collar.

I love it!! I have a 9 month old sheepadoodle puppy and she is a horrible puller. I have tried everything from slip leads to E collars. The slip lead would just choke her and the noise of the E collar did nothing. So when I bought this I was hesitant but I am glad I did. This worked wonders for my puppy and now she’s heeling like a pro! It came early and in perfect condition!

Excellent quality, the fit is good. The fit chart can be misleading. I ordered the larger one based on the fit chart and returned it since it was way too large. This one fits perfectly even so it would be a tick too small according to the fit chart.Anyway, makes walking my dog easier and is worth the money.

Bought a hidden prong before this one, and while it was better than a regular collar for my dog's pulling, it didn't really do much for leash training.This herm sprenger is working much better so far. My dog is particularly stubborn but she's starting to get better in just two days of this one. Not perfect, but noticeable better, and most of the time loose leash walking already. She is being more conscious about not pulling my arm off like she was still doing with the other brand. This is good because she is no longer choking herself out pulling, so while a few corrections are needed here and there, it is better for both of us than the other collar.I can't speak for knock off brands and their quality, they probably all do the same job, but I went with the original and most recommended brand to avoid issues, they quality is good, and it actually works. I look forward to a future of longer dog walks, and her no longer coughing from pulling so hard she's choking herself.Four stars because I'm not a fan of the buckle design or the fact that it's in the center. I know there's another with the buckly in the back and I wish I wen that direction, but a normal buckle clip design would have been easier to use than her sprenger's designed buckle.

Works great on my German Shepherd Dog. I was using an old one fitted for my last dog; or, a plain collar and the dog was all over the place on our walks. I invested in a nice collar and leash and it was worth the money. She now walks right beside me. No more pulling my arms out of the sockets. The prongs do not hurt the dog, but keeps it under control. You owe it to your dog to try this. I am a dog behaviorist and I recommend this product.
