This may sound nuts, but the first morning after wearing this all night, I woke up with black pores on the top of my nose and above my brows. Exactly where the mask lays. I was frightened when I looked into my makeup mirror and even my normal bathroom light. I do not have enlarged pores, either. I enjoy wearing a sleep mask, but not if I have to use my Clarisonic to clean my pores every morning! I even washed it in hot water and still bleeding dye into pores. No bueno. Beauty rest, I don't think so.) The mask is fine otherwise, but I have one from the $1 bin from Target that works just fine and no dye problems.

This mask has a couple of issues. Although the velcro allows for adjustabilityit catches onto your hair. With medium length hair I find I constantly have hair caught in the velcro.The product arrived without any care instructions-is it washable etc? Because it's a fairly smallmask unless you make it quite tight it moves around. When made very secure to avoid movementit feels too tight. A plus however is the "cupped" design that doesn't put pressure on your eyelids.It's probably best as a travel mask and for occasional use just not for every night use.

I've been wearing a sleep mask since my doctor suggested it after I complained of not sleeping well (too many electronic devices with lighted displays in my bedroom). Usually I just pick up whatever is cheap. I bought this one because the reviews were so good. There's nothing overtly wrong with it; it's just not noticeably better than any of the others I've bought. It does slip around a lot but I've noticed that all satin-y ones do. Don't think I'll purchase it again.

I never write reviews, but felt that I should in this case. I work nights, so I sleep during the day. The room where I sleep gets constant sunlight, so I need a good sleep mask, but I was highly disappointed in this mask. If you look at the picture it shows that there is coverage over the nose for this sleep mask. However, the one that I got did not have any coverage over the nose at all and I need that coverage to keep out the daylight. The only way that I have been able to get this to work is to adjust the velcro so that it is extremely tight, I'm talking tight enough that It gives me a headache, and that just defeats the purpose of the sleep mask.

There are two different masks shown in the photo. The mask you receive is the one with the nose cut out. Not the first one that looks like batman. It works alright but it moves around on my face during the night and sometimes I wake up with it around my neck or not on at all. The dye also comes off on your face so be careful about that, I went to the gym today looking like a raccoon.

Some sleep masks are vinyl coated and cause sweating. Some have flimsy headbands. Some tresspass into your eye space. This one is nicely done, and has a slightly convex profile to accommodate eyeball comfort. Velcro strap is adjustable, but the elastic allows you to set it and forget it.Only minor drawback, some of the velcro is exposed after adjusting, and rarely this can catch on flannel bedding.

The item I thought I was getting had more nose coverage, as shown in the first picutre. The item I actually got was the item in the other pictures, with the nose cut out. I find that its makes falling asleep easier (when its already dark), but in the morning sunlight gets in around the nose cut out. I wake up when my spouse wakes up at 5:15am, and with light seeping in its not easy to fall back to sleep at 5:45am... which is partially what I was hoping for.Also, I find that my pores are full of black stuff in the morning.

I work an overnight shift and find it hard to sleep in the daytime due to the light in my bedroom. Even with the shades closed, it is pretty bright. This mask does a good job of blocking all the light, and it is comfortable to wear and is easily adjustable. Highly recommended.
