I am so disappointed. I bought this for my Y8 child as the wonderful prequel it promised to be for the Complete Biology for Cambridge IGCSE (3rd edition) by Ron Pickering (which is excellent) used successfully by my Y10 child. I bought this Biology book as a test with the intention of also ordering the Chemistry and Physics in the KS3 series.The layout of this KS3 secondary 1 book is beautifully clear and compelling, and the Contents page clearly distinguishes between Y7, Y8, Y9 which is helpful when jumping in at Y8. It uses the lovely double-spread per sub-unit with Questions covering that spread which is so clear and familiar as it is also used in the subsequent IGCSE book BUT unlike the IGCSE Complete Biology (also with same cover photo) this KS3 level has no helpful answers in the back so is undesirable for home schoolers with any kind of a life. Please Oxford, supply the answers to this series online like you do for the Essentials IGCSE Chem, Phys and Bio series and I will buy this book back for my (currently) KS2 child's bookshelf.
