Couldn’t run a whole box of rings.
I got this gun with a box of 18,000 rings less than a year ago and the gun shoots out the ring and cuts the wire. I’ve lost a lot of money on wire because of this issue. The gun did work very well until about 16,000 rings. I think it should last longer than that.

Read this before you buy
Upon opening looked to be a product advertised as JXparts on amazon instead of Meite (picture A). No big deal as long as it works.....Cycled more than 30 times over the entire range of operating psi and was surprised to find that it would not load or close a single hog ring correctly!Closer examination revealed a very worn blade and latch (picture B). The left side of the blade and latch are the business end of these parts as they are the first to come into contact with the hog ring during loading and holding. The left side of the blade and latch are so worn (latch especially) that they reflect light when held at an angle.Compare the picture of this product with a picture of a used hog ring gun that I had with more than 1,000 cycles on it (picture C). The left side of the blade and latch on this used gun is in infinitely better shape than the brand new Meite gun!Worn out parts on a brand new hog ring gun?

I spend more time cutting out the bad rings than I do in production
It will never go more than 6 rings before it misfires, I spend more time cutting out the bad rings than I do in production!!! It came with no in instructions for adjustments. Just a total worthless tool that leaves you so frustrated you have to take a brake to cool down.
