Straight forward install and seems to work great.

I just replaced a failed Go Power Battery charger after 3-5 years of operation. I don't know that that's a short or long life, but it was used a lot and it work well until it didn't.Edit: I'm replacing a second one almost 4 years later. First one in December 2016. Second one in September 2020.

This was a replacement for the OEM unit on my 5th wheel. Easy to install and works well.

this is not a 4 stage charger. I contacted Go Power and they said it's the old 3 stage unit with the phone plug!

This is advertised as a 4 stage. It is a three stage. I am returning it.

The media could not be loaded. This Smart Converter charger came with our Solar Extreme Kit (which I also reviewed on Amazon) and it has worked as promised. Some people prefer to have the converter charger built into their inverter however I prefer to have them separate. The reason is when/if something should break I don't have to repair or replace my entire inverter all in one which means less expensive repairs, and I won't have to live without an inverter during repairs.Product works as advertised and runs quietly in our storage bay.
