A lot sturdier than it looks
First: the product.Exactly as described and pictured. Super easy to assemble. The panels seem kinda flimsy at first, but after everything is assembled itās sturdy.Second: installation.A nightmare. Truly awful. I canāt honestly blame the nightmare installation on the product. Iām assuming any other awning would be this bad. Some advice: donāt count on the installation hardware that comes with the awning. It was complicated and didnāt come with any instructions. I had to look it up on YouTube. The other problem is the awningās arches. The little decorations inside the support arches which Iām assuming are structurally important make it hard to attach the awning to the wall. A drill, hammer, screwdriverā¦none of it will fit. The top hole is covered by one of those decorations on the arch, so only a tool with small clearance will work. For example, you can use a simple hand wrench because it turns flat, parallel to the wall. But you canāt use a screwdriver because the handle comes away from the hole and turns perpendicular to the wall. So before you start with this project I highly recommend you make a plan about what hardware to use to attach it to your building. Keep in mind that you will not have any tools clearance for those top holes. Good luck!On the plus side, I put this awning through a ton of abuse trying to get it up and it is definitely more sturdy than it looks. I even had to skip one of the holes, so the whole thing sags. But weāve had some big storms and it doesnāt budge even with the uneven way it hangs. The panels are a bit hollow so it makes some noise when it rains. If that is a concern for you then be aware. It is louder than the sound rain makes on my car roof when Iām inside the car but not tin roof loud. Iād say itās more like rain on a plastic umbrella.

Excellent Quality and Easy to Install!
Iām very happy with this item! The material feels durable and well-made. It was easy to install, and it fits perfectly. It looks great and functions just as described. Definitely a good value for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable product like this one

Very sturdy for a plastic frame.
First, price is good. Second, the frame is large so it should hold up to anything but a direct hit of a large tree limb. The instructions are bad, but one should expect that from overseas. The main issue was the back cross bar, which way it should go, it was not clear. The main complaint is the design is meant to go on a flat surface. Not cedar siding, it sticks out and the bolts were not long enough. Had to go buy 3" 1/4-20 bolts. The selection of bolts was not known, turns out they are 1/4-20 but once you seat the anchor bolts and remove the bolts the threads are distorted.I also injected RTV in the front and rear cross bars, they were very loose, waited a day to cure then finished assembly and then measured where the holes would be. I also switched out the two top screws with SS screws. They are exposed so SS will work better. Note if you do not install those two screws the frame will twist some.

Attractive, light, sturdy, a pain to assemble
If you don't like assembling Ikea furniture, think twice. The pictorial instructions are nearly worthless. You must remove four protective sheets, or they will curl and look ugly in the UV sunlight. The best way to assemble the awnings is to fit the panels into the center joint, connect the front and rear edge pieces to a bracket (using provided screws), then slide the joined panels between those edge pieces and wiggle the panels into the slot. (There's no order of precedence indicated on the "clear and helpful" instructions.) Then you can slide the other bracket onto the bracket/panel/edge piece assembly.Once correctly assembled, they are light, sturdy, attractive and protective.

Read the entire descriptions!
I bought the 40" x 80" awning.First, the center connector is not aluminum as the description states. It is Plastic.Second, Beware that the distance from the outer mounting bolt holes is 75 1/2 inches! I had to mount them partially on the window frames. My fault not checking the measurement before ordering.Installation definitely takes 2 or 3 people. The panels tend to come apart if the middle section is allowed to sag while installing. After mounting all 3 brackets and making sure the panels are still in place, it looks good. Hopefully it will hold up to some wind and light snow.I bought this more than a year ago, otherwise I would have returned it.

Great idea. Made simply of inexpensive materials but does the job
You can't beat the price. It was easy to assemble BUT...I did not use the gigantic screws that came with it. I didn't want to put huge holes in my siding and given the small size it wasn't necessary. I just used large 1/4 lag screws.

Good Buy for the money
IT'S BEAUTIFUL š THE COLOR ADD SO MUCH TO MY ENERGY. IT WAS A BIT CHALLENGING TO INSTALLED BUT THE WORK MAN AND I GOT IT DONE. We had to be careful with the installation cause we didn't want to damage the polycarbonate tile. After installing it was very secure and sturdy.

It works.
It works great but don't know how long it will last. The plastic cover is light and looks not strong.
