PROS:Well made, looks good, affordable, very sturdy.CONS:These fasten from the reverse of the material, an the depth of the sockets inside the handle brackets is not high. This means your fasteners have to be within about a 1/8" tolerance, a bit tight.For my project with 1/2" thick material, I had to buy alternate fasteners to use that were a tad long and cut them to length myself.

This is a nice replacement handle for my guitar case. I needed you use longer screws than the ones that came with the handle. Fortunately, I had the longer screws and did not need to buy them. Perhaps they should include a few different length screws do accommodate cases of different thicknesses.

Acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bouzouki cases are rounded where the handle needs to go. This handle is only good for a flat surface. It cannot be used on any case that has any curvature at all. You will need an offset replacement handle or some sort of strap type of handle to repair or replace handles on most cases. Beware what you are buying.

The PU leather handle for Guitar, Music ? Box, Handbag looked nice and sturdy. I liked it to begin with. However, I had to re-tap two of the threads with a M4-.70 tap to allow full thread engagement. My project box was not heavy in itself , but the contents are fragile and I cannot take a chance on this handle coming off and ruining expensive antique radio components.

I use this product to replace a handle on a featherweight case, while the hardware is cheap and looks weak, the handle is great , was not planning on using the hardware anyway since I was retrofitting to the ones in the case , it worked great and I’m satisfied with the sturdiness of the handle itself

Handle is plastic cored and broke during installation. I've seriously had toilet paper cores with better weight load than this pile of poo.

I modified a camera bag, which can get heavy. Added the red leather handle. The installation works well. The screws marry with metal (brass?) hinges perfectly. A good strong installation.

The hardware is of poor quality. The pins holding the handle to the case are defective. The actual leather handle portion is very nice.
