This machine with a short warranty has had problems all through the year that I have owned it. So much so that in the last five months I have not attempted to use it at all and tomorrow it is heading for the dust-bin. I am not a coffee machine engineer if there is such a thing, but this awful machine has no pressure and does not produce a drinkable cup of coffee.

A couple of things to flag before buying this machine. Firstly it has a European 2 prong plug with no uk adaptor supplied so you can’t use it straight from the box. Secondly no milk jug is supplied so once you’ve bought an adaptor for the plug you’re stuck with black coffee until you get a milk jug. The operating instructions are not difficult but it’s a bit of a hassle making a coffee. The water tank isn’t huge so you need to refill it for each coffee you make. The grind to the permafilter is good but unless you know what you’re going there’s no indication of the correct amount of coffee to grind. It’s a waiting game making a coffee. First when you turn the machine on you have to wait for the coffee cup icon to stop flashing before you can start to brew. Once the light is solid you can start and it produces a really good black coffee. Once you’ve pressed the button fo stop I’ve found that there is a constant dripping of water from the machine for 30 minutes. Once your coffee is brewed it’s time to start heating the milk. You press the steam button and wait, and wait, and wait for it to go solid so you can heat the milk. Once it’s solid you have to hold the button on the top of the machine until the milk is hot. Inevitably this doesn’t happen in one press of the button. The steam light starts flashing and you have to wait once again for it to go solid before continuing the long process of heating a small amount of milk. Now it does produce a decent foam on the milk but both the milk and the coffee are not hot enough for my liking. Overall it’s an ok coffee machine if you like black coffee but it’s badly let down by the milk function

The product is not as useless. The coffee doesn’t come out properly.

Makes 2 cuppas easily. Grinds the beans well. Only complaint os the plastic end of the portafilter.

Bel aspect général, pour un tarif abordable. Ariete est une marque appartenant à De’Longhi. Jolie couleur, s'intègre parfaitement dans une cuisine. Plastique de bonne qualité. Plusieurs choix de moutures (niveau de finesse), broyeur efficace (mais un peu bruyant), chauffe rapide, bon rendu des saveurs et du goût, je l'utilise avec de l'eau filtrée. Une prise en main rapide, une machine cohérente avec un design attractif, je ne regrette pas moi mon achat.

Funciona perfectamente. Molinillo un poco ruidoso y vibraciones apreciables, pero nada grave. Mi dificultad es encontrar el punto justo entre tamaño del café molido, grado de presionado del café y cantidad de agua para encontrar el sabor ideal.

Kaffeemaschine, in die man ganze Bohnen geben kann, die im Moment gemahlen sind. Das Einzige, was fehlt, ist ein Milchaufschäumer, den ich separat gekauft habe. Trotzdem empfehle ich diese Kaffeemaschine jedem, denn sowohl der Kaffee als auch der Cappuccino sind hervorragend.
