Great Machine for Someone Monitoring Their BP - Not Difficult To use
I was nearly put off this monitor when I read some reviews but having used it well over a month now I can say that I am more than happy with this BP monitor. It does so much whilst at the same time being very simple to use. It is essentially just plug and play if that is all you need. I am having to monitor my BP and it provides excellent information that can be sent directly to my GP. As recommended, I hold the start button for 3 seconds and it then takes 3 readings and gives an average. When it displays the result it also shows you your last reading but you can delve in deeper to the data if you want to. A couple of times it has mentioned a warning and asked me to download an app on my phone and then I had to rest my phone on my check for a more accurate check. Thankfully all was fine. My wife has used it a couple of times and to prevent the data tracking being mixed up you just have to move a switch to "person 2". Perhaps my only minor complaint is the insights that it sends you on a daily basis which are pretty generic. I guess it would be nice to make an allowance for age but you can do that yourself by having the information before taking the readings. I assume it is accurate as it seems to correlate with my readings from the GP. A very intelligent bit of kit and exactly what I needed.

Great upgrade to interactive storage of readings
Have upgraded from a previous OMRON monitor and have linked this to my iPhone so all my readings are stored. Periodically I have to send readings in to my gp and am able to request a report from OMRON for a particular timespan which I can forward via email. Reliable and accurate readings from a reputable company.

Heavyweight smart blood pressure monitor
This BP monitor is double the size of a non smart equivalent, so naturally it's heavier. What do you get: the monitor, a semi rigid cuff, pack of batteries, two instruction booklets and a leaflet and a nice zip up carry case with a handle on top.My previous BP monitor went wrong just as I needed to do readings for my GP. I looked at getting the same again and reading reviews I realised that the fault was common and reliability was questionable. People were saying get an Omron.I read the reviews, I considered the different models and this one was said to be identical to the more expensive X7 version. Don't be put off by the Italian title on the listing, it arrives in an English box with lots of other languages too.So I've had it a week and here is my performance review so far:I find the cuff quite difficult to get fastened tight enough, the monitor will report E1 or E6 if it's too loose to begin with.It also tells you after each pressure reading if the cuff was "OK" or you get a circle with lines showing it was a bit loose. I've found that it can tell me ok for one or two readings then it isn't for the next, maybe worth retightening between readings (if you see E1 or E6 you have no choice). I might buy a softer cuff, I find it so difficult to get this one on right maybe because my arms are too fat .(but are within the size range of the cuff) and it doesn't seem to make much difference losing weight - maybe I'll have to have surgery.I have a regular irregular heartbeat, my old machine identified it and it has been investigated and isn't apparently AFrib but it isn't being regularly monitored. The monitor picks up the irregular heartbeat pretty much every time as expected in single use, and it's identifying a possible AFrib in the Afrib mode. I might have to get an EKG machine for peace of mind. I didn't like the look of the one with it built in.Now the App itself has caused me high BP I'm sure, first installing and pairing on my Android phone didn't go smoothly but it was better with Bluetooth on 😊.Once I got it working it asked me to update it a few times but it wasn't syncing with the monitor. I tried daily for 3 days, I was considering sending it back and getting a non smart one. Then it said there's a newer app, while I was installing that the original suddenly updated. I liked the journal and being able to see averages. The new app wanted me to sign up to premier services "free for 30 days" and wouldn't let me get into the app. So I used the old one which wouldn't sync again.Eventually I switched to the new one which let me in this time, but it wasn't syncing. I found out the old one needed to be uninstalled for the new one to work.Ok now it's working and you can see graphs in history or a list, even averages.I'm required to take pressure in each arm and I've been taking single readings with 1 min in between, the Afrib does the same automatically with 30 seconds in between, seems to work out about the same average but Afrib gives you the average.I decided to set my right arm as person 2, left arm being person 1 so I could clearly work out which was which (if I remember to change it), then if I didn't enter the results on my GPs app right away I could get it correctly when I did.I found out (confirmed by Omron) that you can only have one instance of the app on one device and only one person can use it. If you log out and try logging in as the other person it's going to wipe out the other person's data!So now I've got the app installed on my iPad too and wondering why I'm actually doing this! It's still updating both versions of the app on respective devices, you need to press the Button on the back of the monitor at the same time press sync on the app to update - unless you allow it to access your location always and that seems to allow it to automatically sync. The iPad is set to this tonight and the phone isn't so I'll see what happens. The instructions tell you how to sit etc. When not to use the monitor, not to talk..... why is it that health professionals always start asking you questions while using these monitors? Next time I'm going to tell them before they start not to talk to me!

Great bit of kit with smart phone link. perfect.
i needed a BP monitor that would record my own measurements and also an additional person but keep the measurements separate. This Monitor (Omron M7) is pefect. setting up was a bit tricky, but once you got your head around where all the buttons are and what they do, its been fine. the M& also links to an app that can be downloaded onto your computer or smart device for loggging your individual BP measurements and by moving a switch across you can record a second users measurements easily. great piece of equipment that is supporting me in my current and future health aims and goals.

Not just blood pressure.
I bought this as much for the facility to check for irregular pulse and afib as the blood pressure monitoring.I take reassurance from Omron’s reputation for this machines accuracy. It appears to be well built with a nice clear screen. It’s simple to operate and the results can be collated and stored in Omrons companion app. The app is a nice addition which allows the display of your results in various graphic forms. One very useful feature is the ability to download PDF’s of your results allowing you to print them off and take to your doctor if necessary.

Stable Bluetooth Connection and Data Acquisition
It is not as small as my previous device but far more stable in data acquisition and connectivity. I am able to capture all data in Samsung Health as well thanks to compatibility.
