We have had this product for a while. It has been extremely functional and my wife loves the fresh smell of laundry that's been hung out! My only complaint is that it is a little hard to get the line tight enough so clothes don't drag the ground, but that's a minor complaint. Good product!

It's what I expected, not a heavy duty, but adequate for my laundry. I live in a hot dry cimate, so my clothes dry in 15 minute most time. I like to hang my bedding and sun sanitizes nicely. Good but for my needs, and price was worth it to me.

Easy to install. For light weight drying...socks, underware, shirts, it's great.For heavier weight items...jeans, sweatshirts, towels the line stretches, which means that it sags. I line full of towels causes the line to sag almost causing items to touch the ground.Like I said above, light weight items are easy to dry.Wish the line was a little thicker.

I bought a retractable clothes line for our yard from Home Depot and the spring enabled re-tractor busted so I read the reviews for this one that claimed to be "heavy Duty". I was skeptical but it turned out to be true to form. I can hang all the clothes plus a wet work jacket and it stays taut. Then the spring retracts quickly and the integrated metal button snaps into place. This unit is way better than the store bought one. If you are mounting it on drywall or a plaster wall, make sure to use a sold, deep anchor. The unit comes with wood screw hooks for solid wood, but if you don't have that option, I suggest a spider or spreader anchor that is able to hold 75lbs. You can also weather treat the rope with Kiwi Protect-All Waterproofer Spray.

Edit: I’ve been using this each and every time I wash clothes being that I don’t have a dryer. It’s been quite useful. Still haven’t hung up my second one yet. Will try and do so as I need the second one. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to hang dry their clothes.Original Post: This is perfect for an apartment! Now with covid19 going on I really don’t want to step out. I have one of those portable washers but needed to find something to hang dry my clothes. So I read the reviews thankfully for this item. I just installed it and put it to use right away. It doesn’t drag down the line as long as you put the string around twice as instructed to do! I bought 2. Can’t wait to set up my second one tomorrow.

This clothesline works well enough. It's not ideal for where I wanted it, but I made it written. It's rather bulky, and it's a bit tough to get the line taught. Overall, it's decent, but I wouldn't buy it again.
