Good Product
This is very nice Lexan. It's easy to cut, very clear, and comes packaged really well. I bought it to make a windshield for an RC boat, but it ended up being a bit too thick for that use. However, I was able to use it to make windows in another RC boat that didn't require any curves.I think this is a great product for anyone looking for .030 Lexan.

Good quality to have around for projects where you need a thin, sturdy transparent layer
Nice to be able to buy in 8-packs for lower cost. I also like the 1/32" thickness for many projects where a thicker sheet would just get in the way. I can cut this easily with scissors too, which means I don't have to resort to something heavier for quick projects.Only downside is that since it's polycarb I can't run it through a laser-cutter. I wish they would sell acrylic in these thickness and quantities/costs.

There is an ALLOWANCE for the fabricator doing the cutting which acts as a buffer range so as to prevent waste. In theory
The "industry standard tolerance" is frustrating for us as consumers, and perhaps it should be more clear for the average buyer in the descrption, however i can't take away a star by principal as it does match the description, is real polycarbonate as advertised, came to me quickly and without damage. I will buy again.*I want to also suggest that the manufacturer / seller - whomever cuts the sheets- use the "standard industry tolerance" term in the way it's meant to be used. This means your NOMINAL (target) dimensions SHOULD be right at specification (dimensions advertised). There is an ALLOWANCE for the fabricator doing the cutting which acts as a buffer range so as to prevent waste. In theory, this works because you are allowing equal chance for the buyer to receive product that may be off by X amount: either less than nominal OR more. It is clear that the fabricators method of cutting is exact, producing consistent cuts but outside of the nominal range with benefit to the seller and never the buyer.Example: dimensions are stated as 12"x12"x.030" with a tolerance of .025" on length and width.Target should be nominal of 12" where variance in final dimensions after fabricating technique causes occasional deviation from nominal, you dont need to waste those fluctuations that fall within the tolerance.Instead you're using a nominal of your specified minimum allowed dimension, it seems, because your buyers raise the issue often in reviews 11.75" instead of 12"... Unhappy buyer. I have to assume that nobody ever gets the extra quarter inch ABOVE nominal, and I'd guess its just as rare someone gets 12" as it is that you need to put product on hold for failed dimensions. My point is, either describe product with the nominal dimension YOU are targetting (11.75"), or change your fabricating procedure to a more honest approach.

Not for vacuforming
I got this for a home-made vacuform machine, but even at 400 degrees it only warped, never becoming malleable. Plexiglass and PETG both worked great, for those looking for the right option for clear plastic. That being said, it's a strong, durable and very clear piece of plastic, and I'm sure I'll find uses for it.

Absolutely perfect. I bought 16 of the 12 x 12 inch sheets to use as an overlay for Dungeons and Dragons play maps and they are just the thing my group needed. There was a sheet that was scratched a bit (looked like from a box cutter?) but a bit of careful sanding did the trick. The sheets are sturdy for regular handling and easy to write on with permanent markers. I'll definitely be purchasing more in the future should the need arise.

Many Uses, Easy to Work With
I have found many uses for this material. It is flexible and easily folded. You can fold it to create a crease so it forms a 90 degree angle. It is easily cut with a pair of tin snips. It can form almost any shape, and be drilled to attach to other items. I have used it to make model rocket fins, and used it to form many brackets to attach various times. It is light weight. The plastic films on either side protect the surface while being worked on so it does not get scratched.
