It really does smell and taste really bad to the point of me gagging. I thought I just got a bad bottle but one reviewer said the same and the bottle said it didn't expire until next year I think. However, I intend on purchasing another bottle because I strongly believe it's working for me. My hair is the thickest its been since I started my relaxed hair journey and then attempting to transition to texlaxing. My hair is also steadily growing but my hair has never had an issue growing, just many issues retaining that length. Taking these vitamins and keeping my hair in protective styles should get me back to the gorgeous thick long hair I had when I was natural just a bit processed this time. I'm excited about continuing to take them to see the results. I too have also experienced more energy with taking it a long with my multivitamin.

This is my first bottle so I haven’t seen any results but I plan on continuing my hair journey with Elongtress, hopefully I see great results soon.

I intentionally waited a month to see how well these vitamins worked before posting my review. I had been using another brand purchased on Amazon for more than year. It too was ranked as a best seller. I decided to give Elongtress a try because it seemed like the other product wasn't as effective as it was in the past. It wasn't a bad product... More expensive.... and had a couple thousand positive reviews. But, in comparison, I have to say Elongtress is a much superior grade hair vitamin. Elongtress has more supplements and higher dosages of the main ingredient...biotin. Plus, my hair is growing much faster now. I tend to have weak, fragile nails from wearing acrylic for decades. But, now my nails are growing longer and stronger at a much faster rate. I can see the color of my fingernails have become brighter and lighter. I don't have acne or problem skin, but my complexion is noticeably smoother and healthier looking. I thought it was my imagination. That's why I waited until the second month before sharing my experience. I'm really excited about the results after just one month. I can hardly wait to what ongoing use will do for my skin, hair, and nails!! To be continued......

Unfortunately i will have to stop taking these pills because they are hard to swallow.

I now know why I didn't take vitamins before for my hair, it's just me but, I don't like to swollow pills!! Makes me gag.

I have been taking this pill for nearly a month, and so far I have had good results. I already have thick hair, but it would never grow past a certain point, right around shoulder length. My hair feels noticeably softer and stronger. The drawbacks are that the pills smell terrible, so I hold my breath when I open the bottle and wash them down with plenty of water, and I am very sensitive to biotin so I know my body well enough that I also supplement with vitamin b (pantothenic acid) 2,000 mg along with these hair pills, I would get a very severe acne breakout. I have been using these vitamins for about 8 months now and they are truly amazing. I am transitioning to natural and have been cutting my hair every couple months instead of doing the big chop. These vitamins have helped my hair regain its thickness and now grows about 1/2 inch per month. I must say that I also use the LOC method to help my hair retain moisture and do alot of protective styling. I also take iron, vitamin D, and folic acid daily since these ingredients are not in this vitamin.
