Good to start or maintain
I use this to treat for water changes and it works well to keep the water at a healthy level for the fish. It’s affordable and so far we have not had any issues with any imbalance or algae. Great for small tanks.

Does not treat 118 gallons
If you have a larger fish tank make sure you buy multiples for the bottle says it treats 118 gallons however if you follow the directions for the dosage you end up only getting enough out of it to treat a 70 gallon tank the bottles Label is not correct At most you can only treat a 70 gallon tank but if you follow the directions on with only allow actually for a 60 gallon tank but there’s enough in there for 70
