An Elephant & Piggie Biggie! Volume 3 (An Elephant and Piggie Book)

This book collection is very fun and enjoyable for my early reader. The Elephant & Piggie series is entertaining, wholesome, and allows the child to practice adding inflections into their reading which is different from most early reader books.I do find the binding of the book is very tight and it can make the pages difficult to turn at the beginning with how many pages there are in the series, but buying it as a collection is much more budget friendly.

These books are sheer genius. The easy to read words, the easy to understand art, and the familiar characters are all great ways to get kids interested not just in a story but interested in reading the words and understanding what the art is portraying. My students love picking the story they want to hear and love hearing them over, and over, and over again. These stories do what a good story is supposed to do: they get on the level of the child and help them understand the moral by discovering meaning along the way. They are never heavy handed (heavy handedness would go right over their heads and leave them, and me, bored) and always sweet while being entertaining. Willems will be remembered as one of the greats.

This is a great buy! My daughter loves this book we read a story every night.

My little guy loves Elephant & Piggie books. He already had 3 of the Biggie multi volumes. I sent this one just because & I plan to buy Vol 5 for his birthday in November, so he’ll be up to date. He loves the stories & illustrations.

It was a Christmas gift and the child loved the book

These are my children’s favorite characters. Easy for learning to read and my older kids can read to the little ones easily. Funny, cute. We like to take turns reading the different characters too.
